You arrive at Lisbon Airport and are taken to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and settle in after your journey.

Discovering Lisbon
After breakfast, you begin a morning tour of the Portuguese capital. Once known as Olissipo, Lisbon grew around its waterfront, and today you explore its central squares and main avenues. Along the way, you stop at Belem Tower, the exterior of Jeronimos Monastery, and the Monument to the Discoveries, each reflecting the city's maritime past.
The afternoon is free, giving you time to wander through the traditional lanes of Alfama or join an optional visit to the UNESCO-listed towns of Sintra and Cascais.

Lisbon to Evora
Lisbon - Montemor-o-Novo - Evora. This morning you travel into the Alentejo, a region known for its open landscapes and rural traditions. Your first stop is Montemor-o-Novo, where you have free time to explore the town at your own pace. Its castle dominates the hill, with the Torre do Relogio rising above the walls.
You then continue to Evora, a UNESCO World Heritage city. Here you take a guided visit to the Roman Temple, the Cathedral, and the Chapel of Bones, gaining insight into the layers of history that shape the city.

Evora to Coimbra
Evora - Tomar - Coimbra. Today, you head north to Tomar, closely associated with the Knights Templar. You visit the Convent of Christ, a UNESCO site known for its detailed Manueline architecture, reflecting Portugal's Age of Discovery.
You then enjoy free time to explore Tomar's historic center, where narrow streets and quiet squares reveal the town's medieval character.
Later, you continue to Coimbra to meet a local guide who introduces you to this long-standing university city, known for its academic traditions, medieval lanes, and riverside setting.

Coimbra to Porto
Coimbra - Aveiro - Porto. You travel to Aveiro, often linked with its canals and traditional boats painted in bright colors. You have free time to explore the compact center before continuing to Porto.
On arrival, you visit a local wine estate for a tasting that reflects the region's long history of winemaking. You also explore the museum Porto Across the Ages, which offers a concise introduction to the city's development and cultural heritage.

Exploring Porto
After breakfast, you join a guided tour of Porto. The Cathedral, the Stock Exchange building, and the Church of Santa Clara each provide a different perspective on the city's architectural and religious traditions.
The remainder of the day is free, allowing you to explore the riverside district, visit museums, or simply enjoy the atmosphere of Portugal's second largest city.

Porto to Lisbon
Porto - Batalha - Óbidos - Lisbon. In the Morning, you travel to the Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO-listed masterpiece of Manueline Gothic design. You have free time to explore its courtyards and exterior detail at your own pace.
You then continue to Obidos, a fortified hilltop town known for its medieval walls and narrow cobbled streets. Whitewashed houses decorated with bright trims line the passageways, giving the town its distinctive charm. After your visit, you return to Lisbon.

Lisbon to Madrid
Lisbon (Portugal) - Merida (Spain) - Madrid. You travel east today towards Spain, stopping in Merida, a UNESCO World Heritage city noted for its Roman remains.
You have free time to explore the theatre, amphitheater, and bridge area, all reminders of the city's importance in the Roman Empire. You will then continue to Madrid.

Discovering Madrid
This morning, you join a panoramic tour of Madrid, tracing its development from an early fortress settlement to the modern capital. You explore the historic Moreria district and the Hapsburg quarter, home to buildings from the Renaissance and Baroque periods.
The tour continues past major landmarks, including Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de la Villa, the Royal Palace, and the Cibeles and Neptune fountains. You also see 19th-century streets around Plaza de Oriente and the Prado Museum, before moving into modern districts such as Gran Via, Paseo de la Castellana, Salamanca, Parque del Oeste, and the area surrounding the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
The afternoon is at your leisure to continue discovering the city
