Day 1 - Hanoi
On arrival in Hanoi, you will be collected by a private driver at the airport and transferred to your hotel in the heart of the city. Your first evening is at leisure to head out and explore the Vietnamese capital.
Day 2 - Hoa Lu & Ninh Binh Group Excursion
Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Ninh Binh - Tam Coc - Hanoi. You will be picked up by a local guide and will set off for Ninh Binh province on today's shared group excursion. On the way, take a short break before continuing to Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital from 968 to 1010. Here, you will learn about the country’s early feudal system under the Dinh, Le and Ly dynasties.
From here, enjoy a cycling tour around the village, giving you the chance to see local life up close. Lunch follows at a local restaurant, where a buffet of regional specialities is served, including goat meat, spring rolls, chicken, fish, fried rice and fresh salads. Vegetarian options are also available.
In the afternoon, enjoy a 1.5-hour bamboo boat trip through Tam Coc, often called “Ha Long Bay on land”. This scenic journey reveals rice fields, winding rivers, limestone caves and peaceful countryside views. You then visit Mua Cave, also known as Dragon Peak. After climbing nearly 500 steps to the summit of Lying Dragon Mountain, you are rewarded with panoramic views of Tam Coc and the surrounding lotus fields, which are particularly striking in summer.
You return to Hanoi in the late afternoon, with drop-off at your hotel marking the end of the tour.
Please note: Today's included sightseeing takes place as a group excursion, meaning you will join other travellers, not just those in your booking party.
Day 3 - Halong Bay Cruise
Hanoi - Halong Bay. In the morning, check out from the hotel and meet the cruise team for your transfer to Halong Bay. The journey takes you along one of the most scenic routes in northern Vietnam, passing through the Red River Delta with its emerald-green rice paddies stretching to the horizon.
On arrival at the pier, board your cruise and set sail among the striking limestone formations and karst grottoes of Halong Bay. A freshly prepared seafood lunch is served on board, after which there is time to relax on the sundeck and take in the views.
In the afternoon, the cruise anchors in a quiet spot where you can enjoy kayaking or swimming, giving you the chance to explore the grottoes up close. As evening falls, return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by free time to either join optional onboard activities or simply relax. The night is spent onboard.
Please note: In the event of bad weather, if the cruise is not permitted to depart or to overnight at sea, the Halong Bay tour may be cancelled at short notice. In such cases, an alternative tour or a refund will be offered, depending on the circumstances.
Please also note: On the Halong Bay cruise, you will join other travellers, not just those in your booking party.
Day 4 - Halong Sunrise, Return to Hanoi & Fly to Ho Chi Minh City
Halong Bay - Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City. Rise early this morning to watch the sunrise over Halong Bay, a truly memorable start to the day. Breakfast is served in the dining room, after which you can join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck to gently awaken body and mind.
You then visit a limestone cave filled with impressive stalagmites and stalactites. Following the excursion, return to the boat to check out and enjoy brunch as the cruise makes its way back to the harbour.
From here, you are transferred back to Hanoi, from where your private driver will meet you and escort you to Noi Bai Airport for your included flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, a driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in the city centre.
Day 5 - Mekong Delta Group Excursion
Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City. After breakfast, you set off for the Mekong Delta on a group excursion. Your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby at around 7:15–7:30 am before driving to My Tho, located on the left bank of the Mekong River.
On arrival, board a sampan and cruise along the river, passing the four islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise. Stop at Unicorn Island to walk along rural paths, visit fruit orchards and sample tropical fruits while enjoying traditional folk songs performed by local musicians.
Next, take a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal, surrounded by lush countryside. You then visit family-run workshops and a honeybee farm, where you can taste honey tea and try handmade coconut candies.
A traditional Vietnamese lunch is served, after which you cycle around Tan Thach village, meeting local residents and experiencing daily life in the Delta. For those who prefer a slower pace, there is the option to relax in a hammock and enjoy the breeze. In the late afternoon, return to your accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 6 - Cu Chi Tunnels Group Excursion
Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh City. Today, you depart Ho Chi Minh City at around 8:00 on a group excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels, located around 60km away. This extensive underground network stretches more than 220 km. Built during the Vietnam War, the tunnels served as living quarters, supply routes and hiding places, and are now preserved as a key historical site.
Along the way, pass endless rice fields and rivers where ducks and water buffalo can be seen. It is hard to imagine that this peaceful landscape was once heavily bombed during the war, when Cu Chi was considered a “free target zone”.
On arrival, explore parts of the tunnel system, stepping inside hidden passageways and learning what life was like for the soldiers who lived here. You will also have the chance to see the ingenious smokeless stoves once used for cooking and even sample the simple meals eaten by resistance fighters. For those interested, there is also the option to try shooting an AK-47 rifle at a local range.
You return to the city in the afternoon, with the tour finishing at around 14:00 - the rest of the day is at leisure.

Set off at 8:00 on a group excursion to explore Bali on an exciting day of sightseeing and adventure. Your first stop is the famous Bali Swing, where you can soar above the island’s lush green rice fields and take in sweeping views of the surrounding landscape.
