Bwindi Air Safari Mahogany Springs

Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will clear customs and immigration before being met by our representative outside the baggage hall. We will then transfer you to your hotel for your overnight stay in Entebbe.

After an early breakfast, we transfer you to Entebbe Airport for your scheduled flight departing at 08:30 and arriving at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest at 10:35. On arrival, you will be met and taken to your camp or lodge in time for lunch. The afternoon is free for you to relax or enjoy optional activities available at the lodge, payable locally. Dinner will be served at the camp or lodge. Overnight accommodation is in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

After breakfast, we take a short drive to the park headquarters to begin your gorilla trekking adventure. Guided by experienced trackers, you will follow the gorillas movements from the previous day. The treks duration varies between one and six hoursor sometimes longerdepending on the gorillas search for food. The route involves elevations above 7,500 feet and rugged terrain, making the hike physically demanding but rewarding. Once you encounter the gorilla family, any fatigue fades as you observe these recently habituated animals in their natural environment. Your visit is strictly limited to 60 minutes to protect their fragile existence. After time with the gorillas, we enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to camp. If the gorillas are nearby, you may also explore surrounding forest trails to learn more about the local wildlife, including smaller primates and endemic birds. Dinner will be served at the camp, with an overnight stay in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

After breakfast, we transfer you to the airstrip for your morning scheduled flight to Entebbe, departing at 10:55 and arriving at 11:55. Upon arrival, you will be met and assisted with your onward departure flight.
