Bwindi Air Safari Gorilla Forest

Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will clear customs and immigration before being greeted by our representative outside the baggage hall. From there, we will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe for your overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, we transfer you to Entebbe Airport for your scheduled flight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, departing at 08:30 and arriving at 10:35. Upon arrival, you will be met and taken to your camp or lodge in time for lunch. The afternoon is free for you to relax or take part in optional activities available at the lodge, payable locally. After breakfast, we take a short drive to the park headquarters to begin your gorilla trekking adventure. Guided by experienced trackers, you will follow the gorillas movements, which vary daily as they search for food. The trek can last anywhere from one to six hoursor sometimes longerover rugged terrain and at elevations above 7,500 feet. While physically demanding, the walk through the forest is captivating, and the moment you encounter the gorilla family makes any effort worthwhile. These recently habituated gorillas are curious but still adjusting to human presence. You will spend a strictly regulated 60 minutes observing them in their natural environment before returning to camp. After a picnic lunch, there may be time for a gentle hike on nearby trails to learn more about the forests smaller primates and endemic bird species. Dinner will be served at the camp, where you will spend the night.

After breakfast, we transfer you to the airstrip for your scheduled morning flight to Entebbe, departing at 10:55 and arriving at 11:55. Upon arrival, you will be met and assisted with your onward departure arrangements.
