Day 1 - New York
Upon your arrival in New York, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel, where you will have some free time to settle in and explore your surroundings. In the afternoon, you will receive details regarding the start of your tour, which are available either in person or through the informative panels located at the hotel reception. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure, soaking in the excitement of the city that never sleeps. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - New York
Following a hearty breakfast, we embark on a panoramic tour of New York City, showcasing the vibrant boroughs of Upper, Midtown, and Lower Manhattan. Our itinerary includes iconic landmarks such as Wall Street, Rockefeller Center, St. Patricks Cathedral, Central Park, Columbus Circle, and the AOL/Time Warner Building. We'll also explore the renowned neighbourhoods of Greenwich Village and Little Italy, and take in the sweeping views of the Statue of Liberty from Battery Park. In the evening, we provide a transfer to the bustling Times Square, often regarded as the beating heart of the city, resplendent with Broadway musicals and dazzling lights. Please note, if your hotel is situated within the Times Square area, additional transfers are not provided.
Day 3 - New York - Boston
On the morning of our third day, we set off from New York, making our way to Boston, Massachusetts. We arrive around midday and begin a panoramic tour of the city, rich in historical significance as a pivotal player in the American Revolution. Our explorations lead us through the charming streets of Beacon Hill and the prestigious grounds of Harvard University. We also visit the lush surrounds of Boston Common and admire the architectural splendour of Trinity Church. Later, we find ourselves at Quincy Market, a lively waterfront area brimming with shops and eateries. Here, you will have some time to explore independently before we return to the hotel for our evening stay.
Day 4 - Boston - Woodstock - Montreal
After enjoying breakfast, we journey through some of the most stunning landscapes in the eastern United States as we make our way through New Hampshire and Vermont. Our first stop is Woodstock, Vermont, a charming town renowned for its beautifully restored Georgian houses, where you can explore at your leisure. Then, we continue our travels, crossing the border into Canada and arriving in Montreal. Once we reach Montreal, we'll settle into our accommodation, allowing you to unwind and prepare for the adventures that lie ahead in this vibrant city.
Day 5 - Montreal - Quebec
In the morning, after breakfast, we begin our journey with a panoramic tour of Montreal. We explore some of the city's most notable sites, including Parc Mont Royal, the impressive St. Joseph Oratory, and the majestic Cathedral. Following lunch, we set off for Quebec City. Upon arrival, you'll have time to settle into your accommodation, ready to immerse yourself in the charm and history of this captivating city.
Day 6 - Quebec
Following breakfast, we embark on a morning tour showcasing the highlights of Quebec City. Witness the grandeur of the Chteau Frontenac, the charm of Place Royale, the historic significance of Sainte Anne de Beaupr, and the formidable Citadelle. The afternoon is yours to explore at leisure. We recommend visiting Montmorency Falls, noted for its impressive height, which exceeds that of Niagara Falls, making it a must-see during your stay.
Day 7 - Quebec - Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts - Mont-Tremblant - Ottawa
Following breakfast, we embark on a journey through the picturesque Canadian landscapes, making our way to Ottawa. Our first stop will be in the Laurentian Hills, where we'll pause to enjoy the charm of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. This quaint town is nestled amidst stunning natural vistas and offers a perfect snapshot of Canadian small-town life. We then continue to Mont-Tremblant, renowned for its world-class ski resort. After appreciating the breathtaking scenery, we proceed to Ottawa, the capital city of Canada. Upon arrival, we'll settle in for our stay.
Day 8 - Ottawa - Thousand Islands - Toronto
Following breakfast, we embark on a tour of Ottawa, where we'll explore the iconic Rideau Canal and the striking Parliament Buildings. If you're visiting in July or August, you'll also have the chance to witness the traditional Changing of the Guard ceremony. Our journey continues to Gananoque, where we take a scenic cruise through the picturesque St. Lawrence River and the Thousand Islands a captivating landscape of islands dotting the river. After our leisurely cruise, we resume our travels southward, arriving at our hotel in Toronto by late afternoon.
Day 9 - Toronto
Following breakfast, well embark on a sightseeing tour of Toronto, where well explore the vibrant Chinatown, admire the architectural marvels of City Hall and the Financial District, and visit Casa Loma along with other key attractions. Youll have the afternoon to choose your own adventure, whether its ascending the CN Tower for breathtaking city views, indulging in some retail therapy at Eaton Centre, or exploring the extensive Underground City with its 25 kilometres of shopping galleries beneath the financial hub. As evening descends, you can immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Queens Quay, where numerous restaurants provide a delightful setting for relaxation. Later, well retreat to our accommodation for the night.
Day 10 - Toronto - Niagara-on-the-Lake - Niagara Falls
After enjoying breakfast, we set off for the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, known for its well-preserved 19th-century architecture and delightful shops. After spending some leisure time there, we proceed to the majestic Niagara Falls. Upon arrival, we'll capture the beauty of the area with a photo stop at the Floral Clock. Then, we embark on the Hornblower Niagara Cruisean exhilarating boat journey to the base of the world-renowned falls, providing an awe-inspiring perspective of this natural wonder. Following the cruise, you will have some free time to explore the vibrant attractions at Clifton Hill. As the day concludes, we will journey to our hotel in Niagara Falls, where we will be staying for the night.
Day 11 - Niagara Falls - Detroit
On the eleventh day, our journey continues through the picturesque landscapes of Canada as we arrive in Windsor. Here, we take some time to appreciate the scenic Riverfront, which offers splendid views across the water to the city of Detroit. Our adventure then leads us to the renowned Henry Ford Museum, where admission is included, allowing you to explore its vast exhibits capturing American innovation and history. The day concludes with a visit to the lively Greektown district, a perfect spot for dining and soaking up the vibrant local atmosphere before retreating to our hotel for rest.
Day 12 - Detroit - Saugatuck - Chicago
In the morning, we set off from Detroit, traversing the scenic landscapes of Michigan. Our journey takes us to the picturesque town of Saugatuck, where you'll have some time to explore its charming shops and enjoy lunch at your leisure. We then continue our journey towards the vibrant city of Chicago. Upon arrival in the afternoon, we'll provide a transfer to Millennium Park and the iconic Loop district, renowned for its theatres and dazzling neon lights. You'll have free time to explore, with plenty of dining options available. We'll conclude the day with accommodation in Chicago.
Day 13 - Chicago
This morning in Chicago, we embark on a comprehensive tour of the city's highlights. We'll begin at the impressive Millennium Park before moving on to the towering Willis Tower and the expansive Grant Park. Explore the iconic The Loop with its elevated trains and bustling Downtown area. Our journey continues to the Museum Campus, home to the Adler Planetarium, the Field Museum of Natural History, and the Shedd Aquarium. As we cross the Chicago River, we'll be treated to stunning views of the city from the lake. The rest of the morning is yours to explore the city centre or perhaps ascend the Willis Tower for a panoramic view. Enjoy a leisurely lunch and explore Navy Pier, once the world's largest pier when it was built in 1916, now the vibrant hub of Chicago's leisure activities. For those interested, a thrilling optional water tour offers a unique perspective on the city's renowned architecture along the Chicago River. Accommodation will be provided for the night.
Day 14 - Chicago - Los Angeles
Following breakfast, we'll provide a transfer to the airport for your included domestic flight. On arrival in Los Angeles, another transfer will be arranged to take you to your hotel. Your guide will provide further information on the evening's itinerary, or you may refer to the information panels at the hotel reception. Please be mindful that only one suitcase weighing up to 23 kg is allowed in the hold on domestic flights. Any excess baggage fees must be settled directly with the airline. Once settled in, you'll have some leisure time to explore the vibrant surroundings at your own pace.
Day 15 - Los Angeles
After breakfast, we begin our panoramic tour of Los Angeles, a sprawling city known for its diverse cultural and economic influence. Our journey takes us through the Music Center and Civic Centre before exploring the Financial District. Well pass by LA Live and the Staples Center, then traverse along Wilshire Boulevard, moving westward past the Koreatown and the Brea area to reach the iconic Beverly Hills. Continuing along the famed Sunset Boulevard, we arrive at Hollywood, home to the Walk of Fame, the Dolby Theatre, the historic Chinese Theatre, and, of course, the celebrated Hollywood sign.You'll have free time to stroll around and enjoy lunch. Later in the day, well head to Long Beach where the modern glass buildings stand amidst swaying palm trees. Here, you can explore Shoreline Village, where a variety of lively restaurants offer dining options amidst picturesque views of the harbour, including the renowned Queen Mary ship.
Day 16 - Los Angeles - Las Vegas
We leave Los Angeles behind and journey to the glittering city of Las Vegas in Nevada. Upon arrival, we embark on an afternoon tour exploring both Downtown and the iconic Strip. This renowned avenue is lined with extravagant hotels, casinos, and entertainment venues that have transformed Las Vegas into a vibrant playground for adults. In the evening, there's an option to experience the enchanting "Night of Lights" in Las Vegas, showcasing the city's dazzling illuminations. Please be advised that this journey may sometimes be operated via regular line bus services.
Day 17 - Las Vegas - Grand Canyon - Flagstaff
Today we embark on a journey to Arizona, setting off early in the morning. Our first stop is Seligman, a charming town positioned along the historic Route 66. We then continue our journey to the majestic Colorado Grand Canyon, one of the most breathtaking natural wonders and a true emblem of the American West. We expect to arrive mid-morning, and your entrance to the park is included. Together with our guide, we will explore the park on our coach, visiting the stunning Bright Angel View Point and Mather Point, where youll be treated to awe-inspiring vistas from over 2,000 metres above the river. For those seeking an aerial perspective, an optional plane excursion is available. As the day draws to a close, we will transfer to our hotel for the evening.
Day 18 - Flagstaff - Las Vegas
After enjoying breakfast, we embark on our journey back to Nevada, with a brief view of the Hoover Dam from our bus as we pass by (please note we won't be stopping here). We'll then pause for lunch before continuing on to Las Vegas. Once in the city, we provide transportation to one of Las Vegas popular outlet centres, offering you the chance for some shopping at your leisure. As the evening unfolds, you have the freedom to explore the vibrant entertainment scene. Whether you fancy attending a concert, catching a theatre show, or being mesmerised by the spectacular Cirque Du Soleil, the choice is yours.
Day 19 - Las Vegas - Death valley - Bakersfield
Following breakfast, our journey takes us on an early departure through the awe-inspiring landscapes of Death Valley, the largest national park in the United States, known for its dramatic and stark beauty. We will pause for photographs at the renowned Zabriskie Point, which offers panoramas of the eroded, rugged terrain formed by ancient salt lakes. Our tour includes a visit to Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the USA at 85 metres below sea level. Before exiting the park, we will enjoy a traditional Far West lunch. Continuing our adventure, we traverse the central mountain range and travel along the picturesque shore of Lake Isabella before arriving in Bakersfield. Please note that from June to October, due to the high temperatures and potential park closures, we will replace Death Valley with a visit to Calico Ghost Town.
Day 20 - Bakersfield - Sequoia National Park - Fresno
Today, we leave behind the arid landscapes and delve into the lush environs of one of the United States' most remarkable natural wondersSequoia National Park. Following breakfast, we embark on a journey to witness the awe-inspiring giant sequoias, an entirely different scenery from what we experienced the previous day. These majestic trees are among the largest and oldest living organisms on Earth, with the famous General Sherman tree being a particularly impressive sight. You'll have the chance to walk amongst these towering natural wonders, capturing memorable photographs of these giants of nature. After this fascinating visit, we continue our journey to Fresno for the night.
Day 21 - Fresno - Yosemite - San Francisco
Following a hearty breakfast, we embark on a journey to the renowned Yosemite National Park. Known for its breathtaking cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and lush landscapes, Yosemite is among the most stunning mountain regions in the world. Our visit will highlight the parks iconic landmarks, including El Capitan, Half Dome, and its mesmerising waterfalls. You'll have free time to savour lunch amidst these natural wonders. In the afternoon, we continue our drive to San Francisco, arriving in the early evening.
Day 22 - San Francisco
After breakfast, we'll set off on a guided city tour of San Francisco. Our journey will take us through Union Square, famous for its iconic trams, and the vibrant Chinatown. Well pass through the Financial District and Theatre District before reaching Civic Centre. At Alamo Square, youll see the celebrated Victorian "Painted Ladies" houses, a striking contrast against the citys modern skylinea favourite backdrop for filmmakers. We'll travel through the Castro neighbourhood and ascend Twin Peaks hill for a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and bay. Next, discover the historic Haight-Ashbury, known as the birthplace of the hippie movement, before we head to Golden Gate Park for a brief stop. Finally, well conclude at the spectacular Golden Gate Bridge. The afternoon is yours to explore, with the option to visit the picturesque town of Sausalito, offering stunning perspectives of San Francisco and the bay. In the evening, enjoy a transfer to North Beach, affectionately known as 'Little Italy', where you can dine your way through the lively heart of the citys nightlife.
Day 23 - San Francisco
