From San Francisco to Washington Wonders

Welcome to San Francisco. Upon your arrival, we will arrange for your transfer to the hotel. You'll have some free time to explore this iconic city at your leisure. During the afternoon, we will provide you with important information about the start of your journey. Alternatively, you can consult the informative panels located in the hotel reception area. Enjoy your first experience in this vibrant city. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.

Following breakfast, we'll embark on an inclusive city tour of San Francisco. Our journey begins at Union Square, renowned for its charming trams, followed by the bustling streets of Chinatown and the distinguished Financial District. We'll continue through the Theatre District and Civic Centre, reaching Alamo Square to admire the iconic painted Victorian houses against the modern city skylinea familiar backdrop from numerous films. Our path takes us through the colourful Castro neighbourhood to Twin Peaks, offering panoramic vistas of the city and its picturesque bay. Next, we'll explore the historic Haight-Ashbury, known for its vibrant counterculture history, before stopping at the verdant Golden Gate Park. Our tour concludes at the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge.The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. Consider an optional excursion to Sausalito, a charming town offering astounding views of San Francisco and the bay. In the evening, well include a transfer to North Beach, the city's lively "Little Italy" district, teeming with authentic nightlife and inviting restaurants.

Today, we embark on a journey that promises a blend of scenic beauty and charming coastal towns. Following breakfast, we set off for Monterey, where you'll have the opportunity to wander along Cannery Row. This historic waterfront street, once filled with bustling canning factories, now hosts an array of restaurants and leisure venues. After enjoying some free time in Monterey, we continue to the delightful resort town of Carmel. Known for its elegant shops and art galleries, Carmel invites exploration at your own pace. Later, we'll proceed to San Luis Obispo, a welcoming town where we will spend the night, reflecting on the day's delightful discoveries.

After enjoying breakfast, we set off for Los Angeles, stopping en route to visit Santa Barbara. This charming city is known for its stunning Mission and picturesque streets featuring Mediterranean-style architecture, brimming with shops and restaurants. After some free time to explore, we continue our journey to Los Angeles. As the day wanes, well take you to Downtown Disney, where you can soak up the vibrant atmosphere and savour delightful dining experiences in its lively streets.

Following breakfast, we embark on a panoramic tour of Los Angeles, a vast city renowned for its cinematic history and vibrant culture. We commence our journey with the music centre, civic centre, and financial district, making our way past the LA Live and Staples Center. Travelling along Wilshire Boulevard, we pass through the bustling Korean Quarter and the Brea Ditch on our route to Beverly Hills. Our exploration continues on the iconic Sunset Boulevard until we reach Hollywood. Here, you'll have the opportunity to stroll along the Walk of Fame, where thousands of illustrious stars are embedded in the pavement, and see notable landmarks such as the Dolby Theatre, the Chinese Theatre, and, of course, the famous Hollywood sign. You'll have free time to walk around and enjoy lunch at your leisure.Later in the afternoon, we include a transfer to Long Beach. This area beautifully blends the natural allure of palm trees with the sleek lines of modern glass buildings. You'll have time to explore Shoreline Village, a lively spot with diverse dining options, and enjoy views across to the historic Queen Mary, the grand transatlantic liner.

On day 6, enjoy a day of leisure in Los Angeles. You're free to explore the vibrant beaches of Venice and Santa Monica, or if you prefer an action-packed experience, consider a visit to Universal Studios. Whether you're soaking up the sun or seeking thrilling rides, the day is yours to spend as you wish.

On the morning of day seven, we arrange your transfer to the airport for a domestic flight included in your itinerary. Upon landing at your destination, you will be transferred to the hotel. You can expect to receive relevant details about the tour schedule in the afternoon, either by meeting your guide or checking the information signs at the hotel reception. Note that domestic flights typically allow one piece of checked luggage weighing up to 23 kg any excess luggage fees should be settled directly with the airline. In the afternoon, we provide a transfer to Millennium Park and the vibrant The Loop area, renowned for its theatres and striking neon lights. You will have some free time to explore, have dinner and enjoy the lively atmosphere. Accommodation for the evening is included.

After breakfast, well embark on a panoramic tour of Chicago, exploring the city's most iconic landmarks. Our route will take us to spots such as the New Millennium Park, the towering Willis Tower, and Grant Park. Well also pass the famous elevated train system of The Loop and venture through Downtown, visiting the Museum Campus, home to the Adler Planetarium, The Field Museum of Natural History, and the Shedd Aquarium. Our journey includes crossing the bridges over the Chicago River, allowing us to enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the city from the lake. Youll have the rest of the morning free to wander the city centre or take in breathtaking views from atop the Willis Tower. There will be time for lunch, and we suggest a visit to Navy Pier, which, at the time of its opening in 1916, was the largest pier in the world. Today, it serves as a bustling hub of leisure activities. During your free time, you might choose to embark on a famous water tour along the Chicago River to admire the city's diverse and remarkable architecture. Accommodation will be arranged for the night.

We set off early for Cleveland, arriving late in the afternoon. Upon arrival, youll have free time to explore some of the citys highlights. Consider visiting the renowned Art Museum, with its impressive collection, or take a stroll through Little Italy, known for its delightful eateries. Downtown Cleveland also offers plenty to see and do. In the evening, we suggest dining along the lively East 4th Street and Euclid Avenue, where you'll find a range of restaurants creating a vibrant atmosphere. You'll then return to your accommodation for a restful night.

After breakfast, we embark on a brief panoramic tour of Cleveland. We suggest visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, a true emblem of American cultural heritage that showcases the evolution of this genre from its beginnings to the present day. Following lunch, we set off for Niagara Falls, arriving in the late afternoon. Here, youll have time to settle in and explore at your leisure. Accommodation is provided for the night.

Following breakfast, we journey to Niagara Falls, beginning our day at Goat Island for a close-up view of the Rapids and the awe-inspiring Horseshoe Falls. We then embark on the 'Maid of the Mist', a small boat that takes us thrillingly close to the base of these magnificent waterfalls. Please note, the 'Maid of the Mist' does not operate from October to March due to weather conditions. In the afternoon, you'll have the opportunity to explore one of the city's renowned outlet centres, offering a range of shopping experiences. We return to our hotel thereafter for an evening at leisure.

Following breakfast, we journey towards New York, with a stop in Corning en route. Known for its exceptional collection of glass art, those keen on exploring can visit the world-renowned museum here. After soaking in Corning's artistic splendour, we continue our travels to the vibrant city of New York.

Following breakfast, we'll embark on a comprehensive tour of New York City, exploring the dynamic divisions of Manhattan: Uptown, Midtown, and Downtown. Our journey includes a visit to Wall Street, known as the financial hub of the world, the iconic Rockefeller Center, and the grandeur of St Patrick's Cathedral. We'll take in the natural beauty of Central Park and pass through Columbus Circle, with the imposing AOL/Time Warner Building. Youll experience the vibrant neighbourhoods of Greenwich Village and Little Italy, and soak in the views from Battery Park with its panoramic sight of the Statue of Liberty. As the evening unfolds, we will take you to Times Square the bustling core of the city famed for its Broadway shows and dazzling lights. Please note that if your accommodation is located within Times Square, this additional transfer will not be required.

Today, we journey towards Philadelphia, a city rich in historical significance. We'll visit Independence National Park, home to the iconic Liberty Bell, a symbol of American independence. After exploring Philadelphia's historic heart, we continue to Washington D.C., the capital of the United States. Upon arrival, we include a transfer to Georgetown, the city's most vibrant neighbourhood, renowned for its lively atmosphere, bars, and restaurants. This evening offers the perfect chance to immerse yourself in Georgetown's energetic charm. Accommodation is provided for the night.

After breakfast, we set off to explore the highlights of Washington D.C. Our tour begins with a view of the Pentagon as we make our way through Virginia, including a photo stop at the Iwo Jima Memorial. We then visit the Lincoln, Korean, and Vietnam War Memorials, followed by a stop at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The itinerary continues with a photo opportunity at the White House before we circle around the Capitol and conclude in Washingtons museum district. In the afternoon, a boat trip on the Potomac River offers a different perspective on the city's major landmarks. Later, we return to the hotel for a moment to unwind. You might choose to join an optional evening tour to see Washington illuminated at night, before retiring to our hotel for the night. Please note that the Potomac River cruise may not operate from October to March due to weather conditions.
