Day 1 - Los Angeles
Upon arriving in Los Angeles, we'll provide a transfer to your hotel, where you can settle in at your own pace. Take advantage of some free time to explore the nearby surroundings or simply relax and unwind after your journey. In the afternoon, we'll pass along essential information to help you get acquainted with the upcoming itinerary. This guidance will be available at the hotel reception or through our informative panels, ensuring you're well-prepared for the experiences ahead. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Los Angeles
Following a hearty breakfast, we embark on a fascinating panoramic tour of Los Angeles. Our journey through this sprawling city begins at the vibrant music, civic, and financial centres, navigating past the iconic LA Live and Staples Centre. We then continue along Wilshire Boulevard, driving west through the bustling Korean Quarter and passing by the Brea Ditch, ultimately reaching the luxurious Beverly Hills. As we make our way onto Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood awaits, complete with its illustrious Walk of Fame, the impressive Dolby Theatre, the iconic Chinese Theatre, and the famous Hollywood sign. You will have some free time to explore and enjoy lunch in this lively area. Later in the afternoon, well head to Long Beach, where palm trees sway in harmony with sleek glass skyscrapers. At Shoreline Village, you'll have time to stroll along the waterfront and savour dinner at one of the energetic restaurants, all set against the backdrop of the majestic Queen Mary ocean liner.
Day 3 - Los Angeles - Las Vegas
Departing Los Angeles, we journey to the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Upon arrival, we embark on an afternoon tour exploring both Downtown and the renowned Strip, known for its dazzling array of hotels, casinos, and entertainment that make this city a playground for adults. In the evening, you have the option to experience the 'Night of Lights' tour, offering a captivating look at Las Vegas after sunset. Please note that this leg of the journey may be conducted using a regular line bus.
Day 4 - Las Vegas - Grand Canyon - Flagstaff
We set off early in the morning for Arizona, pausing in the historic town of Seligman, nestled along Route 66. After exploring its nostalgic charm, we continue our journey to the mesmerising Grand Canyon. Recognised as one of the planet's great natural wonders, this site stands as a symbol of the American West. We arrive in the mid-morning with park entry included. Accompanied by our guide, we'll visit the stunning Bright Angel and Mather Points, both offering breathtaking vistas from over 2,000 metres above the Colorado River. For those seeking additional adventure, an optional plane excursion is available. We conclude the day with a transfer to our hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 5 - Flagstaff - Las Vegas
After breakfast, we journey from Flagstaff back to Nevada, taking in views of the Hoover Dam from our bus en route, though we won't be stopping. We'll pause for lunch before continuing to Las Vegas. This afternoon, we provide transport to one of the citys renowned shopping outletsan excellent opportunity for some retail therapy. Your evening is free, allowing you to explore the vibrant nightlife and perhaps enjoy a concert, theatre production, or the mesmerising Cirque Du Soleil.
Day 6 - Las Vegas
Today is a leisurely day in Las Vegas, offering you the perfect opportunity to explore this vibrant city at your own pace. Whether you're drawn to the opulence of a world-class casino, the allure of designer boutiques, or the variety of live performances, there's something here for everyone. You might choose to wander along the iconic Strip, take in a thrilling show, or simply relax by the pool at your hotel. Las Vegas is famed for its dynamic nightlife and entertainment, so your evening can be as lively or as laid-back as you desire. Embrace the freedom to make the most of your time in this dazzling desert oasis.
Day 7 - Las Vegas - Chicago
On the seventh day of our journey, we arrange a transfer to the airport as advised by your guide for a domestic flight included in your trip. Upon your arrival, another transfer will take you to your hotel. Your guide will contact you later in the day, or you can find necessary details at the hotel reception. Please note that for domestic flights, the standard luggage allowance is one suitcase up to 23 kg in the hold, and you will be responsible for any excess baggage charges.Once settled in, we provide a transfer to Millennium Park, followed by the vibrant neighbourhood of The Loop, renowned for its theatres and striking neon lights. You will have ample time for dinner and to explore at your leisure. The day concludes with accommodation in your hotel, giving you a chance to unwind after your travels.
Day 8 - Chicago
Following breakfast, we'll embark on a captivating panoramic tour of Chicago. This journey will introduce you to some of the city's most iconic sites, including the architectural marvels of Millennium Park and the towering Willis Tower. Our route will take us through Grant Park, into the heart of The Loop with its elevated train, and onwards to Downtown. We'll also explore the Museum Campus, home to the renowned Adler Planetarium, The Field Museum of Natural History, and the Shedd Aquarium. As we cross the bridges over the Chicago River, you'll be treated to an impressive cityscape viewed from the lake.The remainder of the morning offers you the freedom to stroll through the city centre or perhaps ascend the Willis Tower for a breathtaking panoramic view. Enjoy some leisure time for lunch and a visit to Navy Pier. Once the largest pier globally at its construction in 1916, it now stands as a hub for Chicago's leisure activities. If you're interested, you might choose to embark on a celebrated boat tour along the Chicago River, where you'll admire the city's diverse and stunning architectural achievements. We'll stay overnight in Chicago, rounding off a day filled with unforgettable sights and experiences.
Day 9 - Chicago - Cleveland
We depart early for Cleveland, arriving by late afternoon. You're free to explore the city at your leisure. Consider visiting the renowned Cleveland Museum of Art or the charming Little Italy, known for its excellent dining options. You might also choose to stroll through Downtown to get a feel for the city's vibrant atmosphere. In the evening, we recommend dining on the delightful Calle 4 and Euclid Avenue, where youll find a variety of restaurants perfect for an enjoyable meal. Accommodation is arranged for your stay.
Day 10 - Cleveland - Niagara Falls
Following breakfast, we'll embark on a brief panoramic tour of Cleveland. We suggest exploring the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, an iconic symbol of American culture that chronicles the evolution of rock music from its roots to the present day. After enjoying some lunch, we'll set off for Niagara Falls, where we'll arrive in the late afternoon. You'll have the evening at leisure to rest or start exploring the stunning surroundings. We'll then settle into our accommodation in preparation for tomorrow's adventures.
Day 11 - Niagara Falls
After enjoying breakfast, we'll explore the magnificent Niagara Falls, beginning with a visit to Goat Island where you can take in close-up views of the Rapids and the Horsehoe Falls. Following this, we'll board the iconic Maid of the Mist boat, which will take us to the base of the famous waterfalls for an unforgettable experience. In the afternoon, we will head to one of the area's popular outlets for some shopping. We then return to the hotel to relax after an exhilarating day. Please note, the Maid of the Mist operates seasonally and does not run from October to March due to weather conditions.
Day 12 - Niagara Falls - Corning - New York
After enjoying breakfast, we'll depart for New York and make a stop in Corning, renowned for its impressive collection of glass artefacts. If you're intrigued, you can explore the remarkable museum housing these treasures. Following this, we will continue our journey to New York City.
Day 13 - New York
Following breakfast, we embark on a panoramic journey through New York, exploring the diverse areas of Manhattan from its skyscraping heights to the vibrant city life at street level. We'll venture into Wall Street, the financial pulse of the city, admire the timeless elegance of Rockefeller Center and St Patricks Cathedral, and find serenity amidst the bustle in Central Park. Our tour continues with visits to the lively Columbus Circle, the striking AOL/Time Warner Building, and the unique neighbourhoods of the Village and Little Italy. We'll also enjoy a view of the Statue of Liberty from Battery Park. In the evening, we'll transfer you to the iconic Times Square the bustling heart of New York, renowned for its Broadway musicals and dazzling lights. If your hotel is located in the Times Square area, please note that no additional transfer is offered.
Day 14 - New York - Philadephia - Washington
Today, we make our way to Philadelphia, an iconic American city rich with history. Our journey includes a stop at Independence National Historical Park, where you'll find the famed Liberty Bell, a symbol of American independence. Once we've explored Philadelphia, we continue on to Washington D.C., the capital city of the United States. Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to explore Georgetown, known for its vibrant atmosphere, bustling with bars and restaurants. Accommodation in Washington D.C. is provided for the night.
Day 15 - Washington
After breakfast, we begin our exploration of Washington D.C., taking time to admire some of the nation's most iconic sites. Our tour will lead us to Virginia, commencing with a visit to the Pentagon, followed by a photographic stop at the Iwo Jima Memorial. As we return to D.C., we'll pause at the poignant memorials that honour Lincoln, and those who served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. We then visit the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, a hub of cultural activity. Our journey continues with a photo stop at the White House, followed by the opportunity to view the Capitol as we conclude this segment at the museum area.In the afternoon, we embark on a scenic boat trip along the Potomac River, offering a unique perspective on the city's landmarks. Please note that this excursion is subject to seasonal conditions and does not operate from October to March. After the boat ride, we return to our hotel. For those interested, the evening presents the chance to discover the city in a different light with an optional tour of Washington by night, before we head back to our accommodation.
