Serene Turkey Sailing

Fethiye - Samanlik Bay or Red Island - Boncuklu Bay or Tarzan Bay.. Once you have arrived in Fethiye, you meet the crew at 14:00 for a warm welcome and a short introduction before we depart the harbour at 14:30.

We make our first stop at either Samanlik Bay or Red Island, where you can enjoy your first swim in the Mediterranean or relax on deck as we ease into the rhythm of the coast.

Later in the afternoon, we continue to Boncuklu Bay or Tarzan Bay and anchor for the night. As evening settles, we enjoy our first dinner onboard, prepared fresh and served on deck. Afterward, you can spend your time stargazing, chatting with fellow travellers, or settling in for a restful night with the sound of the water around you.

Boncuklu Bay - Butterfly Valley - Oludeniz - St. Nicholas Island. Today, we make an early sail toward Butterfly Valley, a quiet canyon backed by high limestone cliffs. We serve breakfast on deck, and afterwards, you can swim or go ashore briefly for photos before we continue.

By late morning, we reach the Blue Lagoon in Oludeniz, where you can swim, paddleboard, or relax on deck. If you want more adventure, you can choose to paraglide from Babadag Mountain for wide coastal views.

In the afternoon, we anchor at St Nicholas Island. You can walk the paths, visit the small chapel, or head up the hill for the sunset.

Later, we hold a simple cooking class onboard, preparing Turkish Manti, Sigara Boregi, and Turkish Spoon Salad. We finish the day with dinner on deck.

St Nicholas Island - Kas - Kekova - Gokkaya Bay. This morning, we cruise past Patara Beach, the longest and most unspoilt stretch of sand on the Turkish Mediterranean. After breakfast on deck, we arrive in the harbour town of Kas, a favourite stop along this coastline.

Here you have time to explore at your own pace. You can wander the narrow lanes, browse small shops, or enjoy a Turkish coffee by the water. If you are looking for adventure, you have the option to join a scuba dive, as Kas is known as Turkey’s dive capital.

After lunch, we sail toward Kekova Island to view the Sunken City, where the remains of an ancient Lycian settlement sit just below the surface. Swimming is not permitted here to protect the ruins, but the view from the deck offers a clear look at its walls and old stairways.

Later, we stop at Simena Village, a small hillside community topped by Simena Castle. You can take a short walk up for wide views across the bays, with opportunities to see local ice cream sellers and handmade crafts along the way.

As the day winds down, we continue to Gokkaya Bay, a quiet anchorage surrounded by sheltered coves. The evening is at your leisure to relax on deck, or simply enjoy the calm water around us.

Gokkaya Bay - Demre - Buzaglik Bay or Camlik Bay. After breakfast, you will have time to enjoy a swim or take a paddleboard out in the still morning light before we begin today’s easy sail toward Demre Harbour.

At Demre, our journey connects with our one-way routes. Some passengers will leave us here, and we welcome new arrivals before continuing.

Once everyone is settled, we cruise past Pirates Cave, a small sea cavern set into the cliffs, and stop at Turtle Beach for a swim. Keep an eye out for Caretta Caretta sea turtles, which often surface in the clear water.

By the afternoon, we anchor at either Buzaglik Bay or Camlik Bay, both quiet coves edged by pine forest. You can enjoy lunch, swim in the sheltered water, or relax on deck.

As evening sets in, we share dinner under the stars, bringing the day to a calm and easy close.

Hamidiye Bay - Kekova - Aperlai, Inonu, or Ufakdere Bay - Kas - Limanagzi Bay or Hidayet Bay. This morning, we start the day in Hamidiye Bay, where breakfast is followed by a short transfer to Simena Village. Here you can wander the narrow paths, try the local ice cream, and walk up to Simena Castle for wide views over the Kekova area.

We then sail over the Sunken City of Kekova, where the remains of an ancient Lycian settlement sit just below the surface, before stopping at Tersane Bay for a swim in its clear, sheltered water.

Depending on sea conditions, we anchor at Aperlai, Inonu, or Ufakdere Bay for lunch. You can swim, relax in the sun, or simply enjoy the quiet setting.

By the afternoon, we arrive in Kas, a lively harbour town with cobblestone lanes and small shops. You have free time to explore, and if you want more action, you can choose to join a scuba dive in some of the clearest water on the coast.

As the day ends, we sail a short distance to Limanagzi Bay or Hidayet Bay to anchor for the night. You can take a final swim before dinner on deck, rounding off the day in one of the calmest bays in the area.

Butterfly Valley - Oludenis - St. Nicholas. Our next stop is Butterfly Valley. We will cruise past Patara Beach en route to Butterfly Valley, taking in this long, untouched stretch of coastline as we begin the day. At Butterfly Valley, we anchor for breakfast and a swim beneath steep cliffs and small waterfalls. When the sea is calm, you can swim ashore or take a short walk along the canyon for a closer look.

By late morning, we continue to the Blue Lagoon in Oludeniz, one of the most recognisable bays on this coast. You can swim, paddleboard, or relax in the sheltered water. If you want something more adventurous, you can choose to paraglide from Babadag Mountain for wide views across the lagoon.

After lunch at Soguksu Bay or Camel Beach, the afternoon settles into a gentle rhythm as we make our way to St Nicholas Island. This is our final anchorage, set beside old Byzantine remains and low olive-covered hills. You can swim, explore by dinghy, or walk up to the chapel ruins for a memorable sunset.

We end the day with dinner on deck, a relaxed way to reflect on the week as the stars appear.

St. Nicholas - Tarzan Bay - Samanlik Bay - Fethiye. On our final day, we start with breakfast at Tarzan Bay, a quiet spot with clear water and an easy pace. You can take a last swim here or enjoy your coffee on deck as the morning settles in.

We then make a slow cruise toward Samanlik Bay, where we anchor for lunch and your final swim in the Mediterranean. The calm water and sheltered setting offer a fitting end to a week of relaxed sailing.

By mid-afternoon, we approach Fethiye Harbour, arriving at around 16:00. We say good bye to our fellow travellers and cre before disembarking.
