Itinerary
Day 1 - Olympos to Gokkaya Bay
Olympos - Demre - Gokkaya Bay. Our sailing trip begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Olympos at 13:00, so please make sure you arrive the day before the cruise starts. If you prefer, you can meet us directly at Demre Harbour at 14:30.
Once you step on deck, you will meet your crew, your new travel mates, and a few travellers continuing from our longer cruise who have already been living the sailing life all week. It creates the perfect mix of fresh faces and seasoned party guests.
Our first stop is Turtle Beach, where you can jump straight into the water and, if you are lucky, swim alongside sea turtles, a memorable way to begin your cruise. After five-o’clock tea, we continue towards Buzaglik Bay or Camlik Bay, a calm turquoise anchorage ideal for paddleboarding or simply relaxing on deck.
As the sun begins to lower, we cruise past Pirates Cave for sunset photos before anchoring at Gokkaya Bay, close to the old church. The night unfolds at Smugglers Inn Island Bar, where beach lights, music, and cocktails set the scene for your first Sail Turkey party night, an evening that almost always becomes a highlight of the week. Bringing something fun to wear adds to the atmosphere, and barefoot dancing under the stars captures the unmistakable energy of Smugglers Inn.
Day 2 - Simena, Kekova & Kas
Gokkaya Bay - Hamidiye Bay - Simena - Kekova - Kas - Limangazi Bay / Hidayet Bay. We wake in Hamidiye Bay with sunshine spilling over the cliffs, enjoying breakfast on deck with a coffee in hand and the option of a morning swim before we begin cruising again. Our service boat then takes guests on a short dinghy ride to Simena Castle, a small hilltop village known for its ruins, homemade ice cream, and remarkable views across the Kekova region, so having your camera ready is well worthwhile.
Next, we cruise above the Sunken City of Kekova, where ancient Lycian ruins rest just beneath the surface, creating a surreal moment as we glide over centuries of history. From here we continue to Tersane Bay, once an ancient shipyard and now a calm turquoise inlet ideal for swimming.
Depending on sea conditions, we stop at Aperlai, Inonu, or Ufakdere Bay for a relaxed lunch break, giving you time to swim, unwind, and recharge on deck while the crew prepares the meal. By afternoon we sail into Kas, one of Turkey’s most atmospheric coastal towns, where you have free time to wander the cobbled streets, enjoy a drink by the harbour, or join an optional scuba dive. Kas is considered the diving capital of Turkey, and even first-time divers can join.
Also today, enjoy an included cooking class, where you can whip up local dishes like Turkish Manti, Sigara Boregi (Turkish Cheese Rolls), and Turkish Spoon Salad in a relaxed setting.
As the sun lowers, we anchor just outside town at Limanagzi Bay or Hidayet Bay for the night. It is a peaceful spot for a sunset swim, followed by dinner on deck and an easy evening of conversation and drinks under the stars. The water at Limanagzi often glows a striking blue at sunrise, making an early swim a memorable way to start the next day.
Day 3 - Butterfly Valley to St. Nicholas Island
Hidayet Bay - Butterfly Valley - Oludeniz - St Nicholas Island. It is your last full day at sea, so the morning begins with a coffee on deck as we cruise past Patara Beach, the longest and wildest stretch of sand in Turkey. We drop anchor at Butterfly Valley for breakfast and a swim, where steep cliffs rise above the bay, waterfalls lie hidden in the canyon, and turquoise water surrounds the gulet. This stop depends on sea conditions, but when the weather is calm it is always a memorable moment.
Next, we continue to the Blue Lagoon at Oludeniz, a place you have likely seen in countless images of the Turkish coast. You can paddleboard, take a leisurely swim, or join the optional paragliding experience from Babadag Mountain, which offers two-thousand-metre-high views and an unforgettable sense of adventure.
After lunch at Soguksu Bay or Camel Beach, the pace slows as we set course for St. Nicholas Island, our final overnight stop beside the ancient church ruins. You can try watersports, take the dinghy ashore, or walk to the hilltop for one of the best sunsets in Turkey, with the sky turning soft shades of gold and pink over the sea. Comfortable shoes make the short climb easier, and the view from the top more than rewards the effort.
Back on board, dinner is served as we settle into the warm, relaxed atmosphere of the final night, sharing drinks and enjoying the quiet energy that comes with the last evening on the water.
Day 4 - Return to Fethiye
St Nicholas Island - Fethiye. Your final morning on the Mediterranean invites you to make the most of every moment. We begin the day with breakfast at Tarzan Bay, a local favourite where you can take a turn on the rope swing into the turquoise water or simply relax on deck with your coffee. After a lazy morning swim, we continue towards Samanlik Bay for lunch and your last chance to dip into the Mediterranean, a fitting close to a week shaped by sun, sea, and easygoing days.
By mid-afternoon we cruise back into Fethiye Harbour, arriving at around 16:00. Here it is time to say goodbye to the crew and your new friends.
