Itinerary
Day 1 - Fethiye to Boncuklu Bay
Fethiye - Samanlik Bay - Boncuklu Bay. You meet your crew at the Fethiye Harbour at 14:00 to begin your gulet cruise, with time to drop your bags, enjoy a welcome drink, and step aboard your traditional wooden gulet before we depart from Fethiye Harbour at 14:30. Our first stop is Samanlik Bay or Red Island, where calm turquoise water and warm afternoon light mark the gentle start of your journey. You can take a refreshing swim, float beside the gulet, or simply unwind on deck as the coastline slips past.
By late afternoon we anchor at Boncuklu Bay or Tarzan Bay for your first Mediterranean sunset. Golden skies, a soft sea breeze, and gentle music set the scene for dinner on board, and the evening drifts easily into conversation, starlight, and the soothing rhythm of the sea. The relaxed sailing, soft sunset, and peaceful atmosphere create a fitting introduction to life on the water, and it is worth watching Red Island at dusk, as the light turns the shore a warm shade of red that makes a perfect first photo of your voyage.
Day 2 - Butterfly Valley, Blue Lagoon & St Nicholas Island
Boncuklu Bay - Butterfly Valley - Oludeniz - St Nicholas Island. We wake to the gentle sway of the gulet and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, easing into another tranquil morning on the cruise. We begin the day sailing towards Butterfly Valley, one of the most peaceful natural sanctuaries on the Turquoise Coast. Enclosed by steep cliffs and rich greenery, it offers an ideal setting for a morning swim or a quiet moment of reflection on deck.
Our next stop is the Blue Lagoon at Oludeniz, a calm sweep of turquoise water framed by pine-covered mountains. You can take a leisurely swim, enjoy paddleboarding, or simply relax as paragliders drift above the bay. Optional paragliding from Babadag Mountain is available for those seeking a touch of adventure, offering spectacular panoramic views of the coastline.
Also today, enjoy an included cooking class, where you can whip up local dishes like Turkish Manti, Sigara Boregi (Turkish Cheese Rolls), and Turkish Spoon Salad in a relaxed setting.
By late afternoon we anchor near St. Nicholas Island, where ancient Byzantine ruins overlook serene blue water. You can take a short walk to the hilltop church to watch a golden sunset over the Aegean, or stay aboard with a glass of wine while the crew prepares dinner. The evening unfolds gently, with good food, soft music, and starlight shimmering on the sea. Comfortable walking shoes are useful for the short climb on the island, and the sunset from St. Nicholas Church is often the most peaceful moment of the entire cruise. Optional paragliding over Oludeniz remains available for those who want one last view from above.
Day 3 - Sunken City & Simena Castle
St Nicholas Island - Kas - Kekova - Simena - Gokkaya Bay. We wake to calm seas and the aroma of fresh coffee as the gulet glides eastward along one of the most scenic stretches of the Turquoise Coast. Breakfast is enjoyed on deck while we pass Patara Beach, a long sweep of golden sand that remains wonderfully untouched and strikingly beautiful.
By mid-morning we arrive in Kas, a relaxed harbour town with whitewashed houses, cobbled lanes, and a gentle Mediterranean pace. You have time to explore the boutique shops and waterfront cafés, or you can join an optional scuba dive in one of Turkey’s most renowned underwater sites.
After lunch on board, we continue towards Kekova Island, sailing slowly over the Sunken City of Kekova, an ancient Lycian settlement now resting beneath clear turquoise water. Swimming is not permitted here in order to protect the ruins, but the view from deck is remarkable, especially when the midday light reveals the shapes of ancient walls below.
In the afternoon we visit Simena Castle, a small hilltop village overlooking the entire Kekova archipelago. The short walk to the top offers far-reaching views, and local vendors often serve homemade ice cream that makes a simple but memorable treat.
As the sun begins to set, we anchor in the peaceful Gokkaya Bay area for your final night at sea. Dinner is served on deck under a canopy of stars, with a glass of wine, quiet conversation, and the soft rhythm of the Mediterranean bringing the journey to a gentle close. Optional scuba diving in Kas or a relaxed sea kayak around Kekova is available earlier in the day for those who want a little more adventure, and it is well worth keeping your camera ready as we sail over the Sunken City, when the light reveals every detail beneath the surface. The sunset view from Simena Castle is not to be missed.
Day 4 - Turtle Beach & Demre
Gokkaya Bay - Demre - Olympos. Your final morning unfolds gently, with calm seas, warm air, and breakfast served fresh on deck as the gulet glides towards Pirates Cave. Here the captain shares a few lighthearted local legends from the ancient Lycian coast, a relaxed beginning to the day surrounded by shimmering turquoise water. We continue towards Camli Bay, where the sea is exceptionally clear and ideal for one last swim before enjoying a leisurely lunch in the sun. As we pass Turtle Beach, keep an eye on the water, as Caretta Caretta sea turtles are often seen gliding beside the gulet.
By early afternoon we reach Demre Harbour, or Andriake, arriving at around 13:00 and bringing your three-night journey of sailing to a close. After warm farewells to the crew and your fellow travellers, a free shuttle transfer to Olympos is available, while private transfers can be arranged to Antalya, Kas, Fethiye, or even Cappadocia for those continuing their travels through Turkey.
