Day 1 - Stockholm
Upon your arrival in Stockholm, we'll ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel, giving you some free time to unwind and start soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of this stunning city. As Stockholm is spread across 14 interconnected islands, there's plenty to see and experience right from the start. Later, you'll find important details about the beginning of your tour displayed on boards located at the hotel reception, setting the tone for your exciting journey ahead. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Stockholm
Today, we will explore Stockholm, a city uniquely spread across 14 interconnected islands. Our panoramic tour will take us to the enchanting Gamla Stan the 'city between bridges' where you'll find the charming old quarter brimming with historical landmarks. We will visit the Nobel Prize Museum, positioned alongside Stortorget Square, which celebrates the achievements of Nobel Prize laureates. Our journey continues to the Cathedral and the majestic Royal Palace. If conditions permit, we'll head to the Fjllgatan viewpoint for breathtaking views of the city. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure; consider exploring the captivating museums and verdant parks. Additionally, you have the option to visit the impressive City Hall and the renowned Vasa Museum.
Day 3 - Stockholm - Stockholm - Turku Ferry
Enjoy a leisurely day exploring Stockholm at your own pace. In the evening, we'll embark on a modern ferry for an overnight sail to Finland. Your accommodation will be a double en-suite cabin, allowing you to travel in comfort through the night.
Day 4 - Stockholm - Turku Ferry - Naantali - Helsinki
Upon reaching Finland, we suggest beginning your day on the ship's deck at sunrise to marvel at the enchanting landscapes of hundreds of forested islands in the land archipelago. Once we disembark, you'll have the opportunity to explore Turku, a city deeply influenced by Swedish heritage. We'll carry on to Naantali, a quaint town noted for its delightful wooden seaside houses. Our journey continues as we head towards Helsinki, arriving around midday. The afternoon is set aside for you to discover the city at your own pace, with its vibrant old market, Russian-influenced architecture, and impressive churches waiting to be explored.
Day 5 - Helsinki - Helsinki - Tallinn Ferry - Tallinn
We'll begin our day in Helsinki with an enriching boat journey to the Suomenlinna Islands, a fascinating collection of six islands that house a remarkable fortress. This fortification, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was originally constructed to guard the city's entrance. Take some time to wander and explore the islands, which are connected by pedestrian bridges, offering both historical intrigue and picturesque views. After this, our adventure continues with a ferry crossing to Estonia, taking approximately two and a half hours. As we set sail from Helsinki, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding archipelago. Our day concludes as we arrive in Tallinn in the evening, ready to explore the rich history and charm of this captivating city.
Day 6 - Tallinn
Today, we discover Tallinn, the charming capital of Estonia, renowned for its impeccably preserved medieval architecture. Well embark on a panoramic tour, exploring the city's ancient walls, historic churches, and bustling squares that tell tales of a bygone era. As you wander the cobblestoned streets, you'll find a rich array of attractions to pique your interest. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure, allowing you to delve deeper into the vibrant culture or simply relax and soak in the atmosphere. Let's make the most of this captivating city.
