Itinerary
Day 1 - Colombo
On arrival at Colombo International Airport, our representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to your hotel in Colombo. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore the city at your own pace. You will spend the night in Colombo.
Day 2 - Colombo - Anuradhapura - Rambewa
After breakfast, we set off early towards Anuradhapura, travelling via Negombo. Along the way, we pause at Wilpattu National Park for a Jeep safarian opportunity to observe the parks diverse wildlife in its natural habitat. Following the safari, we continue to Anuradhapura, where lunch awaits. In the afternoon, we explore the Sacred City of Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient ruins and religious significance. Dinner and overnight accommodation are provided in Anuradhapura.
Day 3 - Anuradhapura - Trincomalee - Dambulla
We begin the day with an early morning visit to Mihintale, a site of great religious significance, where you can take in the tranquil atmosphere and panoramic views from the rock summit. Breakfast is served en route. Afterwards, we travel towards Trincomalee, pausing to see the historic Kantale Dam, an impressive feat of ancient engineering. On arrival in Trincomalee, we explore the old Dutch Fort and visit Koneswaram Temple, one of Sri Lankas most important Hindu temples. Lunch is enjoyed in the city before we board a boat to Pigeon Island, where you can experience the fresh ocean air and coastal scenery. After the boat ride, we continue south to Dambulla to visit the renowned cave temple, known for its remarkable Buddhist murals and statues. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in Dambulla or Habarana.
Day 4 - Dambulla - Colombo
After an early breakfast at the hotel, we travel to Sigiriya to explore the renowned rock fortress. Youll have the opportunity to climb to the summit of this ancient citadel, which is recognised for its remarkable engineering and historical significance. After a relaxing lunch, we continue our journey back to Colombo, where you will be dropped off in the city.
