Journey on this 10-day tour of Spain and Morocco, travelling from Madrid to the vibrant cities of North Africa and back. Wander through Cordoba’s awe-inspiring Mosque-Cathedral and Seville’s elegant plazas before continuing via the White Villages to the sunny Costa del Sol. Cross the Strait of Gibraltar to Tangier, then on to Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakesh, admiring mosques, palaces and lively medinas along the way. Return north through Mohammedia and Granada, home to the magnificent Alhambra, before finishing in the historic city of Toledo and back in Madrid.

Day 1 - Madrid to Cordoba & Seville
Madrid - Córdoba - Seville. Depart from the bus terminal between 7:45 and 8:00, travelling through the region of La Mancha to reach Cordoba. Enjoy a sightseeing tour that includes the renowned Mosque-Cathedral and the Jewish Quarter before we continue on to Seville, where dinner is provided. Enjoy a free evening in Seville.
Please note: This tour is bilingual and will be conducted in Spanish as well as in English.

Day 2 - Exploring Seville
In the morning, we enjoy a city sightseeing tour, taking in María Luisa Park, Plaza de España, and the exterior of the remarkable Cathedral and its bell tower, known as the Giralda. Explore the charming Santa Cruz neighborhood with its quaint streets, squares, and narrow alleys.
After the tour, you've got free time or can join optional activities, including a Guadalquivir river cruise, offering panoramic views of the Gold Tower and Expo 92, or a visit to the Maestranza bullring. In the evening, you have the option to attend a flamenco show.
Day 3 - Ronda & Costa del Sol
Seville - Ronda - Costa del Sol. After breakfast, we'll depart for the Route of the White Villages and Ronda. You'll have some free time to take in sweeping views from the Puente Nuevo bridge, explore the historic bullring, or stroll through the charming old town with its whitewashed buildings and quiet plazas. Then, we'll continue on to the Costa del Sol for the night.
Please note: On most departures, we stay in the town of Torremolinos, though this is subject to change.
Day 4 - Journey to Morocco
Costa del Sol - Tarifa (Spain) - Tangier (Morocco) - Rabat - Casablanca. Early this morning, we leave the Costa del Sol and travel to Tarifa, the southernmost point of mainland Europe, where the continent almost touches Africa. We cross the Strait of Gibraltar by ferry to Tangier, the legendary White City that has long captivated artists and travellers. After a short stroll around the port, you have free time to explore the souk and historic quarters, absorbing the city’s unique mix of cultures.
We then continue to Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital, to visit the magnificent Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, two of the country’s most significant monuments. The Hassan Tower, begun in the 12th century, was meant to be the tallest minaret in the Islamic world but was never completed after an earthquake.
After lunch, we travel onward to Casablanca, Morocco’s vibrant Atlantic city, where dinner and our overnight accommodation await.
Day 5 - Casablanca to Marrakech
Casablanca - Marrakech. Today, we begin with a panoramic tour of Casablanca, taking in its cosmopolitan atmosphere and elegant seafront boulevards. We make an exterior stop at the impressive Hassan II Mosque, a modern architectural masterpiece of the Islamic world, crowned by its 210-metre minaret, the tallest in the world. You may choose an optional interior visit to admire its intricate craftsmanship.
We then travel inland to Marrakesh. The afternoon is at your leisure for a first glimpse of the city’s captivating medina and the lively Jemaa el Fna Square, the vibrant heart of local life and culture.
Day 6 - Exploring Marrakech
This morning, we set out on a full-day tour of Marrakech’s main highlights. We visit the beautiful Bahia Palace, known for its serene courtyards and intricate decorations, the peaceful Menara Gardens, and the impressive Koutoubia Mosque, admired from the outside. We then stroll through the bustling souks, where traditional crafts, trades and colours fill the narrow lanes, before arriving at Jemaa el Fna Square, where the city comes alive with musicians, storytellers and food stalls.
The afternoon is at your leisure to discover more of Marrakech at your own pace. You may wish to visit hidden riads, explore artisan workshops or unwind with a traditional hammam experience.
Day 7 - Northbound to Tangier
Marrakech - Mohammedia - Tangier. After breakfast, we travel northwards, stopping in Mohammedia, a charming coastal town known for its golden beaches and excellent seafood. Once called Fédala during the colonial era, it is now one of Morocco’s main oil ports. You have free time for lunch overlooking the Atlantic Ocean before we continue our journey by road to Tangier, arriving at sunset.
This evening is at your leisure to enjoy a stroll along the seafront boulevard by the port or simply relax at the hotel, where we will have dinner.
Day 8 - Return to Spain
Tangier (Morocco) - Tarifa (Spain) - Costa del Sol. Today, we transfer to the port for our ferry crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar. On arrival in Tarifa, we continue by road to the Costa del Sol, where we spend the night.
Day 9 - Journey to Granada
Costa del Sol - Granada. This morning, we depart for Granada to visit the magnificent Alhambra and Generalife, the former residence of the Moorish kings. Together, these iconic monuments showcase exquisite fountains, gardens and graceful arches that reflect the splendour of Andalusian art and architecture.
We enjoy dinner and overnight accommodation in Granada. In the evening, you may choose an optional visit to the caves of Sacromonte to experience an authentic gypsy flamenco show.
Please note: If tickets for the Alhambra and Generalife are unavailable, a city tour of Granada will be offered instead.
Day 10 - Granada, Toledo & Madrid
Granada - Toledo - Madrid. After our final breakfast, we depart for Toledo, the Imperial City renowned for its rich history and impressive monuments. We enjoy lunch and take in a panoramic view from the Mirador del Valle before walking through the city’s charming old town. We then continue our journey back to Madrid, where our tour concludes.
