Day 1 - Barcelona
Welcome to your adventure! Upon your arrival in Barcelona, we will assist with your transfer to the hotel, after which you will have some leisure time to explore or relax. Later in the afternoon, we encourage you to check the informational boards in the hotel reception area for details on the commencement of your tour. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of this captivating city as your journey begins. Day 2 - Barcelona

As evening approaches, we will whisk you away to Maremagnum, a contemporary entertainment and dining hub situated by the sea near Plaza de Coln. Day 3 - Barcelona - Peniscola - Valencia
On the third day, well head south along the picturesque Mediterranean coast. Our first stop is the enchanting medieval town of Pescola. Surrounded by stunning beaches, you'll have time to wander through its charming streets, which echo with the histories of centuries past. Well then continue to Valencia, where we'll arrive around midday. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of this historic port city on Spain's Levantine coast. Valencia boasts over 2,000 years of history, with an urban landscape rich in monuments from various historical periods, beautifully contrasting with the modern architecture of the celebrated City of Arts and Sciences. After the tour, youll have some free time to explore the city further at your own pace. In the evening, relish a traditional local dinner, offering a taste of Valencia's vibrant culinary scene.
Day 4 - Valencia - Alicante - Caravaca de la Cruz - Granada
Today, we journey to the charming city of Alicante. Here, youll have some time to enjoy a leisurely stroll along the picturesque coastline before we head further south. After a pleasant lunch, our travels continue to the Murcia region, where we will explore Caravaca de la Cruz. Recognised as a Holy City by the Roman Catholic Church, Caravaca de la Cruz is home to a revered relic. To enhance your visit, well include a ride on the tourist train to the historic area, offering a convenient way to take in the local sights. From here, we travel along scenic routes towards Andalusia, concluding our day in the vibrant city of Granada. Your evening in Granada includes a delightful dinner, allowing you to savour local flavours as you unwind from the day's adventures.
Day 5 - Granada
Today, immerse yourself in the captivating city of Granada, brimming with historical charm and dominated by the iconic Alhambra Palace. We suggest visiting the impressive cathedral, a place of great significance as it houses the tomb of the Catholic Monarchs. Alternatively, take a leisurely stroll through the Albaicn neighbourhood, a historic quarter that offers stunning views of the Alhambra from the Mirador de San Nicols. Please note that admission to the Alhambra is not included in your tour package. If you wish to explore this magnificent fortress, it is advisable to secure your tickets in advance through the official website or from authorised tour operators in the city.
Day 6 - Granada - Tangier - Asilah - Rabat
On Day 6, we depart from Granada, heading through the stunning scenery of the Costa del Sol. Our journey leads us to either Algeciras or Tarifa, where we board a modern ferry to cross the Strait of Gibraltar, with ferry tickets included in the tour. Please note that you'll need to carry your own luggage as the bus does not make the crossing. Upon reaching Morocco, we travel through breathtaking landscapes to Asilah a picturesque walled city along the Atlantic coast. Historically a notable port and pirate refuge, Asilah now thrives with vibrant energy. After enjoying lunch in this charming town, we continue to Rabat, where dinner will be provided.
Day 7 - Rabat - Casablanca - Marrakech
We begin our day with a panoramic tour of Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. We'll have the opportunity to visit the sprawling Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the formidable Kasbah of the Udayas, all steeped in historical and cultural significance. Around midday, our journey continues as we set off towards Casablanca. Here, we'll enjoy a brief tour, guided by a local expert, which includes an exterior visit to the breathtaking Hassan II Mosque, a premier architectural feat in the Arab world. Our day culminates with a transfer to Marrakech. Upon arrival at our hotel, you'll have the chance to experience a traditional Kalesa ride, which will take you to the iconic Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Dinner is included, offering a perfect end to a day rich in cultural exploration.
Day 8 - Marrakech
Today, we will immerse ourselves in the captivating atmosphere of Marrakech, a city so integral to Moroccan identity that it lends its name to the entire country. Our tour will take us through the citys robust walls, bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the timeless Medina, the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, and the splendid Bahia Palace, with entry tickets included. Following the tour, you are free to enjoy an included lunch and perhaps unwind by the hotel pool or in the garden, or explore the vibrant souks at your leisure. Later in the day, you have the option to participate in the Fantasy Party, a cultural excursion that reflects the lively spirit of the city.
Day 9 - Marrakech - Ait Benhadou - Ouarzazate - Boumalne Dades
On day nine, we will embark on a journey through the stunning Atlas Mountains, where the snow-capped peaks say goodbye to the lush palm groves of Marrakech. Enjoy the sight of small, picturesque Berber villages perched on the edges of deep gorges. Our itinerary includes a visit to the fortified village of Ait Benhaddou, famously featured in numerous films. As we travel across landscapes evocative of biblical times, we'll take a break in Ouarzazate, noted for its impressive Kasbah. Continuing our journey via the scenic Valley of Roses, we'll reach Boumalne Dades, where a delightful dinner awaits. Please note that during winter, road closures due to snow may necessitate itinerary adjustments, and access to the Sahara Desert is subject to road conditions.
Day 10 - Boumalne Dades - Todgha - Erfoud
Set off on an exhilarating journey through the Sahara Desert, exploring the stunning Valley of the Kasbahs. You'll traverse scenic river valleys lined with thousands of palm trees and encounter rocky plains that seamlessly transform into lush oases and quaint adobe villages. Enveloped by timeless fortresses that once guarded ancient trade routes, we will visit the dramatic Todgha Gorge, a magnificent canyon with walls soaring over 100 metres on either side. Our route takes us to a small adobe town near Khorbat, providing a unique opportunity to learn about the desert community supported by a foundation, weather permitting. We'll continue to Erfoud, where you have the optional opportunity to embark on an off-road adventure in the Sahara Desert's sand dunes, culminating in a breathtaking sunset. Lunch will be included in today's activities, adding to the unforgettable experience.
Day 11 - Erfoud - Fez
We'll start our day early in Erfoud, as we venture through the breathtaking Atlas Mountains, navigating dramatic gorges and stunning landscapes. Our journey takes us across a high, cool plateau where nomadic shepherds tend their flocks. Our first stop is in Midelt, a bustling market town renowned for its agricultural activity. We'll continue our route, pausing for a scenic lunch amid the natural beauty of the Middle Atlas. As we progress, the scenery shifts to lush forests where snow is a common sight in winter. Near Azrou, we will visit the "House of Cedars" in a national parka small museum offering insights into the local region. Here, you will have the chance to observe lively colonies of monkeys inhabiting the area. We then proceed to Bhalil, a serene Berber town known for its quaint old town with colourful streets. The interesting architecture incorporates cave dwellings into the housing. Our day concludes with our arrival in Fez. Before heading to our hotel, we will pause to enjoy panoramic views of the ancient city from the Marinid Tombs. Dinner is included.
Day 12 - Fez - Tangier
Today, we begin with a tour of Fez, where we'll enter through the impressive Bronze Gates of the Royal Palace and explore the fascinating Jewish quarter. We'll wander through its vibrant souks and visit the Tanners' Quarter, a testament to the city's enduring craftsmanship. Known as the cultural heart of Morocco, Fez boasts a well-preserved Medina that vividly captures the essence of traditional Arab life. Our visit culminates with lunch at a historic palace nestled within the Medina, offering a delightful conclusion to our exploration. In the afternoon, we embark on a journey northward along a modern highway, reaching the coastal city of Tangier by evening. Dinner will be provided upon arrival, bringing an end to yet another culturally enriching day.
Day 13 - Tangier - Seville
On Day 13, enjoy some leisure time in Tangier perfect for last-minute shopping or exploring local sights. Later, we'll embark on a ferry journey back to Spain. Please be aware that you'll need to carry your own luggage on the ferry, as the bus will not accompany us. After docking in either Algeciras or Tarifa, we will continue travelling to the enchanting city of Seville. Arriving in the evening, you'll be treated to a delightful dinner to conclude the day's adventures.
Day 14 - Seville
As the morning light bathes Seville, we set out on an engaging city tour. Well explore the magnificent cathedral, crowned by the iconic Giralda tower, and stroll along the banks of the picturesque Guadalquivir River. Dive into the charming neighbourhoods of Santa Cruz and Triana, each offering its unique blend of history, culture, and vibrant life. After the tour, unwind with a leisurely boat ride on the Guadalquivir a perfect way to take in Sevilles stunning skyline. In the evening, you have the option to immerse yourself in Andalusian culture by visiting a lively flamenco tablao.
Day 15 - Seville - Merida - Evora - Lisbon
After departing Seville, well journey through the picturesque landscapes of rolling hills and expansive pasturelands towards Extremadura. Our day includes a visit to Mrida, where admission covers the remarkable Archaeological Ensemble, home to a well-preserved Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre, recognised as a World Heritage Site. Youll have free time to explore the vibrant pedestrian-friendly historic centre, bustling with charming restaurants ideal for lunch. Our adventure continues to Portugal, with a stop in vora. This World Heritage Site is famed for its whitewashed streets, Renaissance palaces, and historic cathedral. Well conclude the day in Lisbon, arriving in the evening.
Day 16 - Lisbon
On Day 16, well embark on a tour of Lisbon, exploring its historic charm and vibrant cultural scene. As we wander through the Portuguese capital, with its iconic tiles and charming alleyways, you'll sense the unique "saudade" linked to its rich maritime history. We'll visit the Belem district, an area steeped in history as the launch point for the great Portuguese explorations of the 15th century. The afternoon is yours to explore further. You might choose to wander through the picturesque Bairro Alto area and enjoy the views from its viewpoint, or perhaps venture on an optional excursion to the nearby towns of Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril. In the evening, well return from Restauradores Square, known for its vibrant ambiance with lively bars and cafes, adding a perfect end to your day in Lisbon.
Day 17 - Lisbon - Caceres - Madrid
Today, we'll bid farewell to Portugal as we depart early and make our way through the stunning Alentejo region. Our first stop is in Estremoz, a quaint town known for its medieval castle and cobblestone streets, where you can soak in the tranquil Portuguese atmosphere over a morning coffee. Continuing our journey into Spain, we'll arrive in Cceres around midday. Here, you can explore the town's remarkably preserved medieval and Renaissance architecture and enjoy a leisurely lunch. In the evening, we will reach Madrid and take you to the lively Plaza Mayor, teeming with restaurants and vibrant activities, perfect for an evening stroll or a meal.
Day 18 - Madrid
Our day in Madrid begins with an in-depth exploration of the city's vibrant centre. Well take in iconic sights such as Paseo del Prado, with its renowned museums, and the elegant fountains of Cibeles and Neptuno. The tour continues past the imposing Puerta de Alcal, Plaza de Coln, and the bustling Plaza Mayor. Our next stop is the serene Retiro Park, a green oasis in the heart of the city. Here, well admire the tranquil lake and the stunning Palacio de Cristal.The day includes entry to the Santiago Bernabu Stadium, where you can delve into the rich history of Real Madrid, a club celebrated globally in the football world. The afternoon is yours to explore Madrid at your own pace, perhaps indulging in some shopping or discovering hidden corners of the Spanish capital. In the evening, we'll ensure your return to the hotel, providing a relaxing end to a day filled with culture and excitement.
