Day 1 - Madrid
Welcome to Madrid! On arrival at the airport, we'll be ready to transfer you to your hotel. You have some free time until your adventure begins, so feel free to explore or relax at your leisure. Be sure to check the information signs in the hotel reception for details about the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travellers. In the evening, we'll take you to Plaza Mayor and La Latina, renowned as Madrid's vibrant area for nightlife and delicious tapas restaurants. You're free to choose where to dine, with options ranging from Indian, Chinese, Spanish, to Middle Eastern cuisines. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Madrid
Well start the day with an in-depth tour of Madrid's city centre, highlighting some of its most iconic landmarks. We'll drive along the Paseo del Prado, passing Cibeles and Neptuno, and visit sites like Puerta de Alcal, Plaza de Coln, and Plaza Mayor. Our exploration will also take us to Retiro Park, a serene green space in the heart of the city, where well admire the lake and the stunning Palacio de Cristal. Admission to the Santiago Bernabu Stadium is included, offering a glimpse into the home of Real Madrid, one of the world's most celebrated football clubs. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure. In the evening, well provide a transfer back to the hotel for your convenience.
Day 3 - Madrid - Granada
We set off from Madrid early in the morning, travelling south through the scenic region of La Mancha. Our first stop is the quaint village of Puerto Lpice, which captures the spirit of Don Quixote's legendary adventures. From there, we continue our journey into Andalusia via the stunning Despeaperros, eventually arriving in Granada. Here, lunch will be provided. In the afternoon, those who opted for the Alhambra visit will explore this iconic palace and its enchanting Generalife Gardens with a knowledgeable local guide. These remarkable sites, with roots in the Arab period, offer a glimpse into Spain's rich historical tapestry. Please note that access to the Alhambra is strictly regulated. To secure your entry, tickets are confirmed upon booking, requiring accurate personal details. Ticket costs are non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Should a visit to the Alhambra be unavailable, we will substitute with a tour of the Royal Alczar of Seville, equally rich in historical and architectural significance.
Day 4 - Granada - Tangier - Asilah - Rabat
We will set off from Granada, heading towards the scenic Costa del Sol. Once we arrive at either Algeciras or Tarifa, we will board a modern ferry to cross the iconic Strait of Gibraltar ferry tickets are included in your package. Please note that as the ferry crossing includes your personal luggage, it will not be transported by bus.Upon reaching Morocco, our adventure continues through some truly spectacular landscapes. Our first stop is Asilah, a charming coastal town known for its fortified walls and rich history as a once-bustling port and pirate haven. Today, it's filled with lively energy and vibrant culture. Youll have the opportunity to enjoy lunch here before we continue our journey to Rabat, where dinner will be included.
Day 5 - Rabat - Casablanca - Marrakech
Today, we embark on an insightful panoramic tour of Rabat, Morocco's vibrant capital. Our journey includes visits to the grand Royal Palace, the solemn Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the imposing Kasbah of the Udayas. Around midday, we'll travel to the bustling city of Casablanca. Here, a short guided tour awaits, featuring a visit to the exterior of the iconic Hassan II Mosque, one of the Arab world's architectural marvels. Later, we continue our adventure to Marrakech. After checking in to your hotel, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a traditional Kalesa ride to the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Dinner will be provided, completing a day rich in cultural exploration.
Day 6 - Marrakech
Today we delve into the enchanting city of Marrakech, a place whose name echoes the essence of Morocco itself. On our guided tour, we'll navigate the citys iconic reddish-brown walls and vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square, a hub of activity and culture. We'll explore the bustling Medina, visit the historic Koutoubia Mosque, and admire the opulence of the Bahia Palace, with admission tickets included. After the tour, youll have free time to enjoy an included lunch and unwind, whether by the hotels pool or garden, or by exploring the lively souks at your own pace. In the evening, you have the option to partake in a Fantasy Party, an exciting local excursion.
Day 7 - Marrakech
Following breakfast, our journey concludes, leaving you with cherished memories of your travels.
