Day 1 - Spain to Portugal
Madrid – Salamanca – Porto. We depart from our bus terminal at 8:00 a.m., travelling towards Salamanca, an ancient university city renowned for its rich architectural heritage. Enjoy free time to stroll through the historic centre and admire the magnificent Baroque-style Plaza Mayor. We then continue our journey to Porto.

Day 2 - Discovering Porto
After breakfast, we enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage city. Highlights include the Cathedral, the Stock Exchange, and the Church of Saint Francis. We will also visit a local wine cellar to sample the world-famous Port wine. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace.
Day 3 - Coimbra, Fátima and Lisbon
Porto – Coimbra – Fátima – Lisbon. Breakfast at the hotel before departing for Coimbra, home to one of Europe’s oldest universities and the birthplace of Fado music. Enjoy some free time before continuing to Fátima, an important pilgrimage site.
You’ll have time to visit its impressive Basilica and Sanctuary before we proceed to Lisbon, Portugal’s capital. In the evening, you may choose to attend a traditional Fado performance.
Day 4 - Highlights of Lisbon
After breakfast, we embark on a panoramic tour of Lisbon, located at the mouth of the Tagus River. We’ll see the Park Viewpoint, Edward VII Square, Rossio Square, Liberdade Avenue, and the Madragoa District—birthplace of Fado.
We continue to the Belém District to view the Tower of Belém, the Monument to the Discoveries, and the Jerónimos Monastery. The afternoon is free to explore further or join an optional excursion to Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril.
Day 5 - Across the Border to Andalucía
Lisbon – Mérida – Seville. After breakfast, we depart towards the Spanish border and arrive in Mérida, a city famed for its outstanding Roman heritage. Enjoy free time to explore the UNESCO-listed Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre. After lunch at leisure, we continue along the historic “Autovía de la Plata” (Silver Route) to Seville.
Day 6 - Seville, the Heart of Andalucía
Breakfast followed by a guided city tour, including María Luisa Park, Plaza de España, the exterior of the Cathedral and its bell tower, La Giralda, and the charming Santa Cruz Quarter with its winding alleys and courtyards.
You may choose an optional cruise along the Guadalquivir River for a panoramic view of the Gold Tower and the Expo 92 grounds, or visit the Maestranza bullring. The afternoon is free, and in the evening, you may attend a traditional flamenco show.
Day 7 - Córdoba and its Mosque-Cathedral
Seville – Córdoba. After breakfast, we depart for Córdoba. On arrival, we begin a walking tour starting at Almodóvar Gate, through the historic Jewish Quarter, and visit the magnificent Mosque-Cathedral—one of Spain’s most remarkable monuments.
Day 8 - The White Villages and Ronda
Córdoba – Ronda – Costa del Sol. Breakfast at the hotel before travelling along the scenic Route of the White Villages to Ronda. Enjoy free time to explore this picturesque town perched dramatically above a deep gorge. We then continue to the Costa del Sol.
Days 9-10 - Sunshine on the Costa del Sol
A full day at leisure to relax and enjoy the Mediterranean coastline or join one of the optional excursions.
Day 11 - Crossing the Strait to Morocco
Costa del Sol – Tangier – Casablanca. After breakfast, we travel from the Costa del Sol to embark on the ferry crossing the Strait of Gibraltar to Tangier. Upon arrival in Morocco, we continue to Casablanca, the country’s economic capital.
Day 12 - Casablanca to Marrakesh
Casablanca – Marrakesh. Breakfast followed by a panoramic tour of Casablanca, including a visit (exterior) to the impressive Hassan II Mosque, the second largest in the world after Mecca. We then travel to Marrakesh, one of Morocco’s imperial cities.
After lunch, we begin a city tour featuring the Koutoubia Mosque, the ornate Bahia Palace, the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and the bustling Jemaa El Fna Square—a lively open-air theatre filled with storytellers, musicians, and performers. The visit continues through the vibrant souks, home to traditional artisans and workshops.
Day 13 - The Royal Cities of Morocco
Marrakesh – Rabat – Fes. After breakfast, we depart for Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital and one of its imperial cities. Highlights include the Hassan Tower, the unfinished mosque with its forest of columns, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, an exquisite monument guarded by the Royal Guard in traditional dress. We continue to Fes in the afternoon.
Day 14 - The Spirit of Fes
After breakfast, we explore Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city and its spiritual and cultural heart. We begin with a panoramic view before visiting the Royal Palace with its seven gates.
We then enter the ancient medina of Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its maze of over 2,000 alleys, traditional souks, and historic madrasas. Along the way, we observe local artisans at work, from leather tanners to copper craftsmen, preserving centuries-old techniques. Lunch is served at a traditional restaurant. The afternoon is free for personal exploration.
Day 15 - Return to Spain
Fes – Tangier – Costa del Sol. Breakfast and departure for Tangier, where we board the ferry back to Spain. Upon arrival, we continue to the Costa del Sol.
Day 16 - The Wonders of Granada
Costa del Sol – Granada. After breakfast, we travel to Granada to visit the spectacular Alhambra and Generalife Gardens, the former residence of Moorish kings. Explore its intricate palaces, tranquil courtyards, and ornamental gardens. In the evening, there is an optional visit to the Sacromonte Caves to experience an authentic gypsy flamenco show.
Please note: If, in any case, the Patronato of the Alhambra and Generalife does not grant tickets for certain dates, an alternative tour of the city of Granada will be provided instead.
This visit will include the Palace of Carlos V, the Archaeological Museum, the Church of Santa María de la Alhambra, the Royal Chapel, and a walk through the Alcaicería (the old silk market) and Cathedral Square.
Day 17 - Toledo and Farewell to Madrid
Granada – Toledo – Madrid. After breakfast, we depart for Toledo, Spain’s “Imperial City” and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a panoramic view from the Mirador del Valle before a guided walk through its historic old town, where Christian, Jewish, and Moorish cultures once flourished side by side. We then continue to Madrid, where our journey concludes.
