Day 1 - Costa del Sol to Granada & Alhambra
Costa del Sol - Granada. This morning, we depart the Costa del Sol at 7:45, making our way to Granada. On arrival, we explore the stunning UNESCO-listed Alhambra and Generalife Gardens, the former residence of the Moorish kings, renowned for its remarkable fountains, gardens, and arches.
Dinner is included this evening, and you also have the option to visit the Sacromonte caves for a traditional flamenco show.
Please note: This tour is bi-lingual, and will be conducted in Spanish as well as in English.
Please also note: In the event that tickets to the Alhambra and Generalife are unavailable from the Patronato, an alternative tour of Granada will be arranged. This includes visits to the Palace of Carlos V, the Archaeological Museum, the Church of Santa María de la Alhambra, the Royal Chapel, and a stroll through the Alcaicería silk market and Cathedral Square.

Day 2 - Toledo & Madrid
Granada - Toledo - Madrid. Leaving Granada after breakfast, we head for the hilltop imperial city of Toledo, where we enjoy lunch and time to admire the view from Mirador del Valle. We'll also enjoy a walk through the old town before completing our journey to Madrid, the Spanish capital. On arrival, the rest of the day is free for you to wander down Gran Via and explore the city at your leisure.
Day 3 - Exploring Madrid
Spend a day exploring the Spanish capital with an included panoramic sightseeing tour that covers the most significant squares, avenues, and buildings, including Gran Via. After the tour, you've got the rest of the day free to find a good tapas restaurant and a glass of sangria, or to continue exploring at your own pace.
Day 4 - Trujillo & Lisbon
Madrid - Trujillo - Lisbon (Portugal). After breakfast, we depart for the Extremadura region, arriving in Trujillo, the birthplace of Spanish conquerors including Francisco Pizarro who was a key figure in the defeat of South America's Inca Empire. Enjoy some free time to explore Trujillo's Plaza Mayor.
We proceed to cross the Portuguese border, reaching Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, situated at the mouth of the Tagus River. The evening is at leisure, or you can consider joining an optional night tour to experience a Fado show, featuring traditional Portuguese songs and music.
Day 5 - Exploring Lisbon
This morning, we join a panoramic sightseeing tour of the Portuguese capital. Highlights include the hilltop viewpoint at Edward VII Park, Rossio Square, Liberdade Avenue, and the Madragoa District, known as the birthplace of Fado, traditional Portuguese music. The tour continues to the Belem District, home to the renowned Belem Tower, Monument to the Navigators, and Jeronimos Monastery.
After the tour, the afternoon is yours to explore at leisure, or you may choose to join an optional excursion to Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril.
Day 6 - Fatima Day Trip
Lisbon - Fatima - Lisbon. From Lisbon, we embark on a day trip to Fatima, an important pilgrimage city. On arrival, you will have free time to explore the city and perhaps visit the famous Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima. We're heading back to Lisbon for the night.
Day 7 - Caceres & Seville
Lisbon - Caceres (Spain) - Seville. Say goodbye to Lisbon and Portugal as we return to Spain and arrive in Caceres. Enjoy free time to explore Plaza Mayor and stroll through the old city, known for its famous and well-preserved medieval quarter, a recognized World Heritage site. There's free time for lunch before we continue south to Andalucía, arriving in Seville, where dinner is included.
Day 8 - Exploring Seville
In the morning, we enjoy a city sightseeing tour, taking in María Luisa Park, Plaza de España, and the exterior of the remarkable Cathedral and its bell tower, known as the Giralda. Explore the charming Santa Cruz neighborhood with its quaint streets, squares, and narrow alleys. Lunch is included at a local restaurant today.
After the tour, you've got free time, or can join optional activities including a Guadalquivir river cruise, offering panoramic views of the Gold Tower and Expo 92, or a visit to the Maestranza bullring. In the evening, you have the option to attend a flamenco show.
Day 9 - Seville to Cordoba
Seville - Cordoba. After breakfast, we depart for Cordoba. Upon arrival, we'll begin our walking tour at Almodovar Gate, exploring the Jewish Quarter before visiting the renowned Mosque-Cathedral. The afternoon is free for you to enjoy at your leisure, and dinner is included tonight.
Day 10 - Ronda & Costa del Sol
Seville - Ronda - Costa del Sol. Enjoy a final breakfast before we check out and make our way to Ronda. You'll have some free time to take in sweeping views from the Puente Nuevo bridge, explore the historic bullring, or stroll through the charming old town with its whitewashed buildings and quiet plazas. Then, we'll continue on to the Costa del Sol, where our tour ends on arrival at approximately 18:00.
