Day 1 - Welcome to South Africa!
On arrival in Cape Town, you'll be transferred from the airport to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or head out and explore South Africa's oldest city.
Day 2 - City tour & Table Mountain
After breakfast, meet your local guide for a half-day Cape Town city tour. Highlights include historic landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope, City Hall, St. George’s Cathedral, the Company’s Garden, and the colourful Bo-Kaap. Also enjoy a diamond tour showcasing local craftsmanship and South Africa’s rich gold and diamond heritage. then you’ll have the option to visit Table Mountain by cable car (weather permitting; ticket not included) for breathtaking views over the city and beyond.
Day 3 - Cape Point & Peninsula tour
Heading out of Cape Town on a full-day excursion, today you'll discover Cape Point and the rest of the Cape Peninsula, at the far south of the African continent. The scenery here is some of the finest in the world, and you'll enjoy wonderful coastal views. A stop will be made at Simon's Town, a picturesque coastal town with gorgeous beaches. One of these is Boulders Beach, home to a large penguin colony. You'll also visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden before returning to Cape Town.
Day 4 - Winelands tour
Today is spent on a tour of South Africa's Winelands with visits to Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Paarl. Enjoy included wine tasting, sampling several of South Africa's finest homegrown wines. The scenery in this part of South Africa is truly out of this world! Return to Cape Town for one final evening.
Day 5 - Manyeleti Game Reserve in Greater Kruger
Cape Town - Manyeleti Game Reserve. Leaving the hotel after breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Hoedspruit Airport (flight not included in tour cost).
On arrival, you'll be transferred to Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp, a luxury permanent tented camp in Manyeleti Game Reserve. Enjoy your lunch before embarking on your first game drive in the reserve. Manyeleti is an unfenced private reserve that forms part of the Greater Kruger ecosystem. It's home to all of the Big Five, and is one of the best places in South Africa for a safari.
Days 6-8 - Manyeleti Game Drives
The next three full days are spent uncovering the rich tapestry of life found in Manyeleti, with expertly guided morning and afternoon game drives each day. Spend free time spotting wildlife at the watering hole and relaxing by the infinity pool, where elephants come to drink each day! You can also enjoy Bush Walks (book and pay locally) and there's a newly built bird hide opposite a watering hole near the camp for any keen birdwatchers to enjoy. The camp is unfenced, so wildlife is free to wander around the site, which it often does! All of your meals are prepared for you at the camp, so you can concentrate on ticking the Big Five off your bucket list.
Day 9 - Hoedspruit Airport
Enjoy your last game drive in the African wilderness (subject to flight departure times) before returning to camp for a scrumptious breakfast.Check out and proceed to the foyer of the camp where you will be met by a local representative and transferred to Hoedspruit International Airport to be in time for your onward flight.
