Day 1 - Arrival in Porto
Once you have arrived in Porto, you will be met and transferred to the hotel for check-in. You will then have the rest of the day at leisure to explore Porto, grab a meal, or relax.
Please note: This tour is bilingual and will be conducted in Spanish as well as in English.
Day 2 - Discovering Porto’s Heritage
Today, make your way to the meeting point at 7:30 am, where we begin our exploration of Porto, a city recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We enjoy a panoramic tour that takes us past some of the city’s most remarkable landmarks, including the Cathedral, the impressive former Stock Exchange building, and the beautifully adorned Church of St Clara.
We end the day with a visit to a traditional wine cellar, where we have the opportunity to sample Porto’s world-famous Port wine.

Day 3 - Coimbra to Lisbon
Porto - Coimbra - Fatima - Lisbon. We set off for Coimbra, a charming city known for its historic university, one of the oldest in Europe, and as the birthplace of fado music. There is free time to explore the city at your own pace.
We then continue to Fátima, one of the world’s most significant pilgrimage centres. You will have time to visit the Basilica and the Sanctuary, both places of deep devotion and reflection.
Later, we travel onwards to Lisbon, the vibrant capital of Portugal, where we settle into our accommodation. In the evening, you may choose to attend a traditional fado performance to experience the soulful sounds of Portugal’s musical heritage.
Day 4 - Discovering Lisbon
This morning, we enjoy a panoramic tour of Lisbon, a beautiful city set at the mouth of the Tagus River. We visit the Park Viewpoint, Edward VII Square, Rossio Square, Liberdade Avenue, and the historic Madragoa District, where the traditional Portuguese music of fado was born.
We then continue to the Belém District to see some of Lisbon’s most iconic landmarks, including the Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, and the impressive Jerónimos Monastery.
The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace. You may wish to join an optional excursion to the charming towns of Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril.
Day 5 - Lisbon to Seville
Lisbon (Portugal) - Merida (Spain)- Seville. After breakfast, we depart towards the Spanish border and make our way to Mérida. There is free time to explore its remarkable archaeological complex, which includes the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre, both recognised as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Lunch is at your leisure.
In the afternoon, we continue along the historic Silver Route towards Andalusia, arriving in Seville, one of Spain’s most captivating cities. Dinner and accommodation are included.
Day 6 - Discovering Seville
We begin the day with a city sightseeing tour, taking in the highlights of Seville. Our route includes María Luisa Park, the impressive Plaza de España, the exterior of the city’s magnificent Cathedral with its famous bell tower, La Giralda, and the charming Santa Cruz quarter, known for its narrow lanes, pretty squares, and lively atmosphere.
You may choose to enjoy an optional cruise along the Guadalquivir River for panoramic views of the Gold Tower and the Expo 92 site, or visit the historic Maestranza bullring. Lunch is at your leisure.
In the evening, you have the option to attend a traditional flamenco show and experience the passion and rhythm of Andalusian culture.
Day 7 - Seville to Córdoba
Seville - Cordoba. Today, we depart for Córdoba. On arrival, we begin a walking tour starting at the Almodóvar Gate and continue through the historic Jewish Quarter. We then visit the city’s most iconic monument, the magnificent Mosque–Cathedral, a masterpiece of Islamic architecture.
The afternoon is free for you to explore Córdoba at your own pace. Later we will enjoy dinner at our accommodation.
Day 8 - The White Villages and Costa del Sol
Cordoba - Ronda - Costa del Sol. This morning, we set out along the scenic Route of the White Villages, a region of charming hilltop towns known for their whitewashed houses and Andalusian character. We stop in Ronda, where there is free time to explore this historic town, famous for its dramatic gorge and stunning views.
We then continue our journey to the Costa del Sol, where we settle into our accommodation and enjoy the relaxed coastal atmosphere.
Day 9 - Discovering Granada
Costa del Sol - Granada. After breakfast, we depart for Granada. On arrival, we visit the breathtaking Alhambra and Generalife complex, once the residence of Moorish kings. We explore its beautiful courtyards, elegant arches, and exquisite gardens filled with fountains and flowers.
Dinner and accommodation are included. In the evening, you may choose to visit the caves of Sacromonte and enjoy a traditional gypsy flamenco performance.
Please note: If tickets for the Alhambra and Generalife are unavailable, a city tour of Granada will be offered instead.
Day 10 - Granada to Valencia
Granada - Valencia. We travel through Guadix, Baza, and Puerto Lumbreras, taking in the changing landscapes as we make our way towards Spain’s Mediterranean coast and the vibrant city of Valencia. You will have the rest of the day at leisure to explore Valencia.
Day 11 - Valencia to Barcelona
Valencia - Barcelona. Today, there is some free time to relax or explore Valencia at your own pace. By mid-morning, we depart for Barcelona. On arrival, we settle into our accommodation, with the remainder of the day free for you to enjoy the city.
Please note: For logistical reasons, the sightseeing tour of Barcelona may take place upon arrival in the afternoon.
Day 12 - Discovering Barcelona
This morning, after breakfast, we set out on a city sightseeing tour of Barcelona. We visit Montjuïc Park, which offers spectacular views over the city, as well as the Olympic Ring, the monument to Columbus, and the atmospheric Gothic Quarter with its narrow streets and historic charm.
The afternoon is free for you to explore Barcelona at your leisure. In the evening, you may wish to join an optional night tour to see the city’s grand avenues, illuminated buildings, and beautiful fountains.
Day 13 - Barcelona to Madrid
Barcelona - Zaragoza - Madrid. Today, we travel through Lérida and Zaragoza, with some free time along the way to stretch our legs or explore a little. We then continue our journey to Madrid, Spain’s lively capital, where we settle into our accommodation for the night.
Day 14 - Excursion to Toledo
Madrid - Toledo - Madrid.This morning, we take a half-day excursion to the monumental city of Toledo, a place rich in history and culture. We begin with a panoramic view from the Mirador del Valle before enjoying a guided walk through the city’s atmospheric old town.
We then return to Madrid, where the rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore at your own pace.
Day 15 - Madrid to Porto
Madrid - Salamanca (Spain) - Porto (Portugal). After our final breakfast, we depart for Salamanca, a historic university city known for its grand architecture and lively atmosphere. There is free time to wander through the old town and admire the beautiful Baroque Plaza Mayor.
We then continue our journey across the border into Portugal, arriving in Porto, where our tour comes to an end.
