Day 1 - Warsaw
Welcome to your tour! Upon your arrival in Warsaw, we will transfer you to your hotel, where you can settle in and enjoy some leisure time. In the afternoon, youll be able to find detailed information about the start of your adventure on the boards located in the hotel reception area. Enjoy exploring at your own pace as you prepare for the exciting journey ahead. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Warsaw
We begin our day in Warsaw with a panoramic tour guided by a local expert. This city, home to nearly two million residents, is Poland's political and economic heart. Our tour takes us through a stunning blend of modern architecture and meticulously restored historical sites. We will wander around the enchanting Old Town, complete with its cobbled streets and rebuilt historical buildings, including the Royal Palace. All of these have been carefully resurrected after the devastation of World War II and now hold UNESCO World Heritage status. We will also visit the Palace of Culture, a towering gift from the Soviet Union, and take a moment to reflect on the history of what was once the largest Jewish ghetto in Europe. Our exploration continues with a walk through ?azienki Park, home to the iconic Chopin Monument. In the afternoon, you will have free time to discover Warsaw further. You might choose to visit museums like the National Museum and the Warsaw Rising Museum, or enjoy the bustling city centre filled with shops and activities at your leisure.
Day 3 - Warsaw - Wroclaw
Today, we embark on an early journey to Wroclaw, the capital of Lower Silesia. Founded in the 10th century, this city showcases a rich tapestry of Polish, Czech, Austrian, and German influences. The historic centre, meticulously rebuilt after World War II, boasts one of Poland's most beautiful squares. Wroclaw is renowned for its abundance of bridges and canals, which lend an enchanting character to the city. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a boat trip through these picturesque waterways. Following this, you are free to wander and explore the city at your own pace.
Day 4 - Wroclaw - Poznan - Torun - Warsaw
Our journey takes us to Greater Poland, with our first stop in Pozna?, one of the country's oldest cities. Here, you'll find the vibrant Market Square at the heart of the old town, where the impressive Town Hall stands surrounded by colourful Renaissance buildings, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere. At noon, you'll witness the charming 16th-century spectacle of two mechanical goats clashing horns above the clocka delightful tradition not to be missed. You'll have some time to enjoy lunch and explore the area at your leisure. We then continue to Toru?, a stunning Gothic walled city, renowned for its magnificent historic centre that has earned UNESCO World Heritage status. It's also the birthplace of the renowned astronomer Copernicus, and if you wish, you can visit the museum dedicated to him. We'll conclude the day by travelling to Warsaw, arriving in the evening to unwind and reflect on the day's discoveries.
Day 5 - Warsaw
After enjoying breakfast, we conclude our journey, hoping you depart with cherished memories of your time with us in Poland. Safe travels and we hope to see you again on another adventure.
