Day 1 - Welcome to Manila!
Upon arrival in Manila, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for the next two days. The rest of the day is at leisure, for you to relax or explore at your own pace.
Day 2 - Manila sightseeing
Today you are taking in the best of Manila on an included city tour. Begin in the financial district of Makati, where you will see Fort Bonifacio and the American Cemetery, before heading into the heart of Manila, the nation’s capital. Arrive at Rizal Park, named after the national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. Next, explore the historic walled city of Intramuros, strolling through the cobbled streets to San Agustin Church, the oldest stone church in the country, where you can admire its extensive collection of ecclesiastical icons, vestments, and other religious artifacts. Opposite the church is Casa Manila, a replica of a 19th-century house featuring Oriental and European decor, alongside antique furniture from the Philippines.
Continue to Fort Santiago, Manila’s main line of defence against maritime invaders, which guards the city’s entrance from Manila Bay and has witnessed many pivotal events in Philippine history.
From the Fort, you will travel to Quiapo, often regarded as the heart of Manila, where you can explore its bustling market, the pilgrimage church of the Black Nazarene, jeepney terminals, and lively bazaars. Finally, visit the Chinese Cemetery, notable for its grand mausoleums that resemble houses, reflecting a blend of Buddhist and Christian beliefs. At the conclusion of the tour, you will return to your hotel.
