Day 1 - Lima
On arrival in Lima, a private transfer and guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and familiarise yourself with the city. Lima is a vibrant metropolis of around 10 million people, blending modern life with rich history. You may choose to rest after your flight or explore the city at your own pace. Alternatively, you can opt for the Magic Water Circuit with Dinner a private evening tour starting at 17:30 (not available Sundays and Mondays). This includes admission to the worlds largest fountain complex, a bilingual guide, and dinner at a local restaurant. The tour lasts approximately four hours and includes pick-up and drop-off. Overnight in Lima.
Day 2 - Lima
After breakfast, your private local guide will meet you in the hotel lobby at around 9 am to explore Limas historic old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in colonial architecture. The tour begins in the traditional Pueblo Libre district with a visit to the Larco Museum, housed in a beautifully restored viceregal mansion built atop a seventh-century pre-Columbian pyramid. The museum features an extensive collection of pre-Hispanic gold and silver artefacts, including notable examples of erotic art. Next, visit Casa Aliaga, a colonial mansion granted by Francisco Pizarro to one of his captains, Jeronimo de Aliaga, and still owned by the same family today. Continue with a scenic drive through Limas colonial downtown, stopping at the Main Square to admire the grand architecture of the Spanish Empire and the 16th-century Cathedral. The tour concludes around 1 pm with a return to your hotel, leaving the afternoon free for you to relax or explore independently.
Day 3 - Lima - Cusco
After breakfast, you will be privately transferred to the airport for your flight to Cusco (please note the domestic flight from Lima to Cusco is not included and must arrive by 10:30 am at the latest). Upon arrival, a representative will welcome you and escort you to your hotel. After a short rest, your local guide will collect you at 1 pm for a four-hour tour of Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire. The tour begins at the Santo Domingo Convent, a Renaissance-Baroque complex built atop the Inca Coricancha templeonce a significant sun worship site with foundations still visible. Next, visit the Cathedral, the dominant structure on the Main Square. Then, head to the hills above the city to explore the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, known for its impressive stone walls and panoramic views. Continue to the temple and amphitheatre of Qenqo, believed to have been used for agricultural rituals, before concluding at Puca Pucara (Red Fortress), an Inca military complex featuring dwellings, aqueducts, and towers. You will return to your hotel around 5.30 pm for an overnight stay in Cusco.
Day 4 - Cusco - Machu Picchu - Cusco
After breakfast, we will transfer you to Ollanta Station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. The journey offers stunning views of the Andean landscape as you travel through the mountains. Upon arrival, we will escort you to the bus for a 25-minute ride up to Machu Picchu, the renowned lost city of the Incas. Believed to have been constructed around 1450 by the Inca ruler Pachactec as a royal estate, the site was later abandoned following the Spanish conquest, which allowed the jungle to conceal and preserve it. During the 2.5-hour guided tour, you will explore the citadels key monuments and learn about its history and significance. Afterwards, you will have some free time to wander independently before returning by bus to Aguas Calientes for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you will take the train back to Ollanta Station, where a vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco for your overnight stay.
Day 5 - Cusco
After breakfast, enjoy a full day at your leisure in Cusco. This is an ideal opportunity to relax and explore the city at your own pace, whether you choose to visit local markets, discover additional Inca sites, or simply soak up the atmosphere of this historic Andean city. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 6 - Cusco
We collect you from your hotel early at around 4 am for the transfer to Cusipata, where your hike begins. Surrounded by stunning Andean landscapes and dominated by the sacred Ausangate Mountainan important peak since Inca timesyou will trek to the viewpoint of the 7-Colour Mountain. Here, you can take in the remarkable natural colours and panoramic views. After a short pause, we descend back to Cusipata, where your transfer awaits to take you back to Cusco. En route, we stop for lunch before arriving at your hotel around 4 pm. The hike covers 4 kilometres with an ascent and descent of 406 metres, lasting approximately three hours. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure.
Day 7 - Cusco
After breakfast, we will provide a private transfer from your hotel to the airport, ensuring a smooth and timely departure from Cusco.
