Day 1 - Trondheim
Upon arrival in Trondheim, we'll ensure a smooth and stress-free start to your journey with a transfer to your hotel. Once settled, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. In the afternoon, further information about the commencement of your tour will be conveniently displayed on the noticeboards at the hotel reception. This is a great chance to acclimatise to the citys atmosphere and perhaps discover some local highlights before your adventure begins. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Trondheim - Kristiansund - Atlantic Road - Molde
Today, we begin by exploring Trondheim, known for its rich history and vibrant cultural life. After taking in the city's charms, we will traverse the picturesque Norwegian coastline, where fjords meet the Norwegian Sea. Our journey includes a scenic ferry crossing to arrive in Kristiansund, a city celebrated for its unique layout across numerous isles connected by bridges. Once a thriving fishing hub, Kristiansund offers a delightful mix of cobblestone streets adorned with shops, cafes, and restaurants, where you can relax and enjoy lunch.Following our time in Kristiansund, we will visit the Kvernes Stave Church. This 14th-century church is renowned for its historical significance and fascinating interiors, including a 300-year-old ship model and beautiful altarpieces. Our travels then lead us to the iconic Atlantic Road, famed for its breathtaking beauty. This remarkable drive, crossing eight bridges, offers dramatic coastal views where the ocean's waves sometimes crash dramatically against the shore. A stop at one of the viewing points allows us to fully appreciate this extraordinary landscape. We conclude the day in Molde, arriving by evening in this lively town known for its picturesque setting by the fjord.
Day 3 - Molde - Geiranger - Briksdalsbreen - Loen
Our day begins with a ferry crossing over the Romsdal Fjord, taking in sweeping views during the 50-minute journey. We ascend through snowy mountains and descend to the impressive Storfjorden, with its breathtaking vistas. The adventure continues with another ferry ride, lasting 30 minutes, through a landscape adorned with snow-capped peaks until we reach the Eagle Viewpoint. From here, we can admire the magnificent Geiranger Fjord, a designated World Heritage Site famed for its stunning beauty. On arrival in Geiranger, youll have free time to exploreperhaps enjoy a boat ride along the fjord, wander beside its captivating waterfalls, or simply relax in the charming village. After lunch, our route takes us through dramatic mountain scenery, leading us to Briksdalsbreen, a glacier set amidst stunning natural surroundings. There, you can opt to hike to the glacier on foot or take an electric vehicle. We'll regroup for dinner before spending the night in the delightful town of Loen, perched by the fjord, where you might wish to take a ride on one of the worlds steepest cable cars, ascending from the fjord to over 1,000 metres above sea level.
Day 4 - Loen - Bergen
We embark early on an incredible journey from Loen to Bergen, covering nearly 300 kilometres of stunning landscapes. Our route will lead us along the fjord shores and across mountains, complete with a scenic ferry crossing. We anticipate reaching Bergen by lunchtime, where a ride on the Flyen Mountain cable car awaits, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the city. The remainder of the day is yours to explore Norway's second-largest city at your own pace. Bergen is famed for its rich history and vibrant cultural scene amidst breathtaking natural landscapes. You might choose to wander through Bryggen, the UNESCO-listed historic wharf district, renowned for its lively atmosphere and colourful wooden buildings. Alternatively, consider visiting the Aquarium or exploring the vibrant fish market, where you'll find an array of small eateries serving local delicacies.
Day 5 - Bergen - Eidfjord - Voringfossen - Geilo - Oslo
We set off from Bergen early, venturing into Norways captivating interior. Our adventure begins with a journey across the remarkable suspension bridge over Hardanger Fjord, renowned as one of the country's most beautiful fjords. Upon reaching Eidfjord, a picturesque town nestled at the fjords edge, youll have a moment to take in its tranquil charm. Our next stop is Vringfossen, acclaimed as Norways most stunning waterfall, where the water cascades spectacularly from a height of 182 metres. We'll take time to explore the extensive network of viewpoints and bridges that provide breathtaking views of the falls. Continuing our journey, we traverse expansive, rugged high plateaus, adorned with small lakes that remain frozen for much of the year, and snowfields stretching across the horizon. Our route takes us to Geilo, a well-loved ski resort town, where we will pause for lunch. Following our leisurely break, we press on toward Oslo, arriving by evening. Once in Oslo, you might choose to explore its vibrant city centre, wander along the historic harbour, or take in the panoramic views from the rooftop terrace of the modern Opera House.
Day 6 - Oslo - Oslo - Copenhagen Ferry
In the morning, we'll embark on an enlightening tour of Oslo, a city renowned for its commitment to the environment and stunning natural surroundings. With our knowledgeable local guide, we'll pass by the Royal Palace and make a stop at Frogner Park to appreciate its remarkable sculpture collection. We'll also see the exteriors of the Town Hall and the striking new Opera House, as well as the historic old port. Once the guided tour concludes, you'll have the opportunity to explore Oslo at your own pace. Consider visiting one of the city's top museums or simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.After a leisurely morning, we will prepare for our sea journey to Denmark. We'll board a modern overnight ferry, designed to provide cruise-like comfort during our passage. Our afternoon and night will be spent on board, with well-appointed cabins ensuring a restful journey. Please note, our ferry is set to depart at 3:00 p.m., with boarding commencing an hour prior at 2:00 p.m. We anticipate arrival in Copenhagen by 10:00 a.m. the following day. Remember that ferry schedules may be subject to change. Breakfast is included on the ferry, providing a pleasant start to your day as we sail.
Day 7 - Oslo - Copenhagen Ferry - Copenhagen
Our journey continues as we arrive in Copenhagen this morning, where we'll set off on a guided panoramic tour of Denmark's vibrant capital. Famed for its high quality of life and dedication to sustainability, Copenhagen is a city steeped in cultural history. Our tour will take you to see the iconic Little Mermaid statue, a symbol of the city, and allow you to wander along the picturesque Nyhavn Harbour, lined with its characteristically colourful historic buildings. You'll also view Amalienborg Palace, the winter residence of the Danish royal family, and explore the lively City Hall Square and the surrounding Tivoli Gardens area. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. You might choose to delve deeper into the citys rich culture, sample delicious Danish cuisine, or perhaps relax in one of its many charming cafs.

Following breakfast, our journey concludes, leaving you with cherished memories of your adventure.
