Day 1 - Oslo
As you arrive in Oslo, you'll have some free time to unwind and acclimate. Later in the afternoon, please refer to the information boards in the hotel lobby for the starting details of your tour. Note that this itinerary allows for travellers to join or leave at various stages, so the group dynamics might change, but the group size will remain within limits. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Day 2 - Oslo - Orebro - Stockholm
On the second day of our journey, we commence with a guided panoramic tour of Oslo, the vibrant capital of Norway. Known for its harmonious blend of modern and classical architecture, as well as its expansive parks adorned with sculptures, Oslo proudly holds the title of European Green Capital. Following the tour, you will have the opportunity to explore the city at your own pace.As we set off for Sweden, be prepared to enjoy the picturesque landscapes dotted with forests and lakes. Our route takes us to rebro, a quaint historic town nestled by a scenic lake, renowned for its charming castle and delightful old town. Here, youll have time to wander and take in the local sights. We will then continue our journey to Stockholm, aiming to reach this captivating capital by evening.
Day 3 - Stockholm
On our third day in Stockholm, we'll enjoy a captivating panoramic tour of the Swedish capital, uniquely spread across 14 interlinked islands. During our exploration, we'll visit Gamla Stan, the vibrant and historic old town, renowned as 'the city between bridges'. Here, you'll discover iconic landmarks including the Nobel Prize Museum, steeped in history, situated next to Stortorget, the main square which honours notable Nobel Prize recipients. We'll also pass by the impressive Cathedral and the Royal Palace. Whenever conditions allow, we'll take in breathtaking views from the Fjllgatan viewpoint. After our tour, you'll have the afternoon free to explore the city at your own pace. Museums and parks come highly recommended, and for those interested in delving deeper, optional visits to the City Hall and the remarkable Vasa Museum are available.
Day 4 - Stockholm - Helsingor - Copenhagen
Today, we journey southwards, starting with some time in the lively coastal town of Helsingborg. In the early afternoon, we will take a ferry across to Helsingr in Denmark. Here, you'll have the opportunity to explore Hamlet's hometown, where the impressive Kronborg Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, stands proudly. We'll then continue our journey to Copenhagen, where we will arrive in the evening.
Day 5 - Copenhagen - Berlin
We begin our day with a panoramic tour of Copenhagen, Denmark's vibrant capital renowned for its superb quality of life, commitment to sustainability, and rich cultural scene. With our local guide, we will explore iconic sites including The Little Mermaid statue, the vibrant Nyhavn Harbour with its picturesque historic buildings, the splendid exterior of Amalienborg Palace home to the Danish royal family and the bustling Town Hall Square, as well as the vicinity of the famous Tivoli Gardens. Following our city tour, well head south through Denmark to Gedser, where we will embark on a two-hour ferry crossing to Germany. Upon reaching the port of Warnemnde, well continue our journey by road, arriving in Berlin by the end of the day. Please note that if only a small number of passengers are traveling between Copenhagen and Berlin, this segment may be completed using a standard passenger line without altering the core itinerary.
Day 6 - Berlin
Today, immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Berlin with a guided panoramic tour of Germany's fascinating capital. We will explore the historic city centre, where you can marvel at architectural wonders like Museum Island, the Reichstag, and the iconic Brandenburg Gate. The tour continues with a visit to the bustling shopping streets and Berlin's picturesque parks. Here, we include a panoramic tour of the city's highlights, featuring its majestic Castle, the bustling Town Hall Square, and the iconic Charles Bridge. Our day concludes with an evening transfer to the city centre, allowing you to explore a selection of traditional breweries. Note that the Prague city tour may occasionally take place on Sunday.
Day 8 - Prague
Today, youre free to discover the enchanting city of Prague at your leisure. Dive deep into its history and culture, meandering through its charming streets or perhaps indulging in a caf visit. If you wish to enrich your day further, why not opt for the Artistic Prague tour? This includes a visit to Mala Strana, known for its baroque architecture, the revered Infant Jesus of Prague, and the magnificent St. Nicholas Church. Day 9 - Prague - Lednice - Budapest
Departing early from Prague, we journey south to the picturesque Moravia region. Our first stop is Lednice, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you'll have the chance to explore the breathtaking gardens and admire the exquisite castle. Continuing our travels, we pass through Slovakia, entering Hungary, where we'll pause in the historic town of Gyor. Known as the city of four rivers, Gyor offers a perfect setting for a leisurely lunch and a pleasant stroll through its charming streets. Our journey then leads us to Budapest, where we'll arrive by mid-afternoon. As the evening unfolds, we'll provide a transfer to the bustling pedestrian area, alive with a myriad of traditional restaurants, many offering live music to enhance your dining experience.
Day 10 - Budapest
Today, we will enjoy a panoramic tour of Budapest, a city beautifully divided by the Danube River. Our exploration will take us to Buda, where you'll discover the charm of the historic old town, and Pest, famous for its vibrant commercial areas.
