Day 1 - Oslo
Welcome to Oslo! Upon arrival, you'll have some free time to unwind and get acclimatised to the Norwegian capital. Later in the afternoon, don't forget to check the information boards in the hotel lobby for detailed arrangements regarding the start of your tour. Throughout the journey, be aware that travellers may join or leave the tour at different points along the way. Rest assured, the maximum group size will always be maintained. Enjoy your first day at your own pace, and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead! Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Oslo - Oslo - Copenhagen Ferry
On the morning of our second day, we will embark on a panoramic tour of Oslo, the picturesque capital of Norway, celebrated as Europe's green capital. Accompanied by a local guide, we'll journey past the Royal Palace, pause at Frogner Park to admire its remarkable sculpture collection, and view the exterior of the Town Hall, the old port, and the contemporary Opera House. Following the tour, you will have some free time to delve into the citys diverse offerings on your own. Consider visiting one of Oslos renowned museums to enrich your understanding of its vibrant culture.After enjoying lunch, we will board a modern night ferry to Denmark, which provides the creature comforts of a cruise ship. Our afternoon and evening will be spent sailing across the sea to Copenhagen, with a stay in cosy cabins and breakfast included. Please be advised that boarding begins at 2:00 p.m., and the ferry is scheduled to depart at 3:00 p.m., arriving in Copenhagen by 10:00 a.m. However, ferry schedules may be subject to change.
Day 3 - Oslo - Copenhagen Ferry - Copenhagen
Upon arriving in Copenhagen in the morning, we embark on an insightful panoramic tour of this remarkable city renowned for its high quality of life, sustainability, and rich cultural heritage. Our local guide will lead us to visit iconic sites such as The Little Mermaid statue and the vibrant Nyhavn Harbour, known for its colourful historical buildings. We will also see the exterior of Amalienborg Palace, the official residence of the Danish royal family, and explore City Hall Square and the lively Tivoli Gardens area. In the afternoon, youll have free time to discover Copenhagen at your leisure, perhaps visiting its museums, exploring its beautiful parks, or enjoying a coffee in one of its many charming cafs.
Day 4 - Copenhagen - Rostock - Szczecin
Following breakfast, well set off for Gedser, a charming town known as the southernmost point of Scandinavia. At approximately 11:00 a.m., we will board a modern ferry for a two-hour crossing of the Baltic Sea, heading towards Germany. It's a perfect opportunity to enjoy lunch on board. Upon arrival in Rostock, you'll have free time to explore this bustling city, renowned as the largest German port on the Baltic. Delve into its vibrant old town, where you can visit significant landmarks such as the Market Square, the City Hall, and St. Marys Church. Our journey continues as we travel through the Pomerania region into Poland, reaching Szczecin by evening. This historic university city lies gracefully along the Oder River and boasts a picturesque historic centre, featuring the Pomeranian Dukes Castle and inviting riverside terraces. Take some free time to wander and absorb the local atmosphere.
Day 5 - Szczecin - Bydgoszcz - Torun - Warsaw
After breakfast, we will journey through the serene landscapes of western Poland, a region that was part of Germany until the conclusion of World War II. Our first destination is Bydgoszcz, a city renowned for its charming architecture, picturesque parks, and network of canals connecting the Vistula and Oder Rivers. You'll have the opportunity to wander through this historic city and enjoy lunch at your leisure.We then travel to Toru?, a beautifully preserved Gothic city, celebrated for its stunning historic centre, which is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This city is also famed as the birthplace of Copernicus, and you'll have time to explore Toru?'s rich history, perhaps visiting the museum dedicated to the legendary astronomer if you wish.Following our exploration of Toru?, we continue our journey to Warsaw, Polands vibrant capital. We aim to arrive by the end of the day, allowing you to rest and prepare for the adventures ahead in this bustling city.
Day 6 - Warsaw
Today, we embark on a panoramic tour of Warsaw, guided by a local expert. As Poland's capital, Warsaw is a vibrant city that skilfully combines contemporary architecture with beautifully restored historic sites. Our exploration starts in the charming old town, where we'll admire the Royal Castle and wander down its cobblestone lanes. This area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has been faithfully reconstructed following the devastation of World War II. We will also visit the Palace of Culture a striking skyscraper gifted by the Soviet Union, and pause to reflect on the poignant history of the largest Jewish ghetto during the war. Our tour concludes with a stroll through ?azienki Park, home to the iconic Chopin Monument.In the afternoon, youll have free time to immerse yourself in Warsaws rich culture. Consider visiting the National Museum or the Warsaw Rising Museum, or perhaps enjoy the lively atmosphere of the city centre, which offers an array of shops and activities.
Day 7 - Warsaw
Following breakfast, our tour reaches its conclusion, leaving you with cherished memories of your travels.
