Day 1 - Amsterdam
Welcome to Amsterdam, the vibrant and bustling capital of the Netherlands. Upon arrival, we'll arrange your transfer to the hotel, allowing you to settle in and enjoy some leisure time. As you explore at your own pace, soak in the charming surroundings of this historic city. Later in the day, make sure to check the hotel reception boards for detailed information about the start of your exciting tour. Day 2 - Amsterdam
Today, well explore the quintessential beauty of Holland, beginning with a visit to Zaanse Schans. This charming area is famed for its iconic windmills, serene canals, and traditional wooden houses, offering a glimpse into quintessential Dutch life. Our journey continues to Volendam, a delightful fishing village where rustic charm meets the sea. From Volendam, a brief boat ride will take us to the island of Marken. Here, you'll see unique wooden houses built on stilts, a nod to its maritime heritage. Following our island exploration, we return to Amsterdam for a panoramic tour. Youll experience the citys enchanting narrow canals, historic official buildings, and verdant parks. Well also witness the artistry of a diamond-cutting demonstration, a nod to Amsterdam's rich jewellery heritage. As the day draws to a close, well provide a transfer to the vibrant city centre, offering a plethora of dining options to savour your evening meal.
Day 3 - Amsterdam - Hamelin - Berlin
On the third day, well bid farewell to Amsterdam as we set off for Germany. Our first stop is the delightful town of Hamelin, known for its charming streets and shops that bring to life the famous Brothers Grimm tale of the Pied Piper. As we continue our journey, we'll pass through Marienborn, a site that once marked the division between East and West Germany prior to reunification in 1990. We'll arrive in the vibrant city of Berlin in the evening.
Day 4 - Berlin
Experience the essence of Berlin with a guided tour of Germany's vibrant capital. From the comfort of our coach, you'll glimpse iconic sites such as Museum Island, the towering Television Tower, and the bustling city centre with its renowned shopping streets. Here, you'll have the opportunity to explore some stunning palaces at your leisure and possibly enjoy lunch in one of the city's numerous restaurants or coffee shops. In the afternoon, we continue our journey to the Czech Republic, arriving in the enchanting city of Prague. We'll make our way to the vibrant Old Town Square, a lively hub of activity that serves as the perfect introduction to Prague's charm. As evening approaches, you can sample a diverse range of culinary delights, choosing from restaurants offering Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian cuisines. After a delightful dining experience, we'll return to the hotel, bringing this exciting day to a close.
Day 6 - Prague
Today, we will explore Prague, the stunning Baroque gem of Europe. Our local guide will take us on an insightful panoramic tour of the city, showcasing some of its most magnificent landmarks. A highlight of the day is the visit to Prague Castle admission is included for you to delve into its rich history. Following this, we'll enjoy a leisurely boat ride along the Vltava River, offering a unique perspective of the cityscape. The afternoon is yours to discover Prague at your own pace, with ample time to wander through its charming streets and perhaps uncover a hidden gem or two.
Day 7 - Prague
After breakfast, we conclude our journey and bid farewell to the beautiful city of Prague.
