Visa Procurement

Please be advised that visa requirements are subject to change and that visa procurement is the responsibility of the traveler and not On The Go Tours. Please also ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your planned date of departure from Mozambique.

African countries are in a continual state of political flux and visa requirements can change overnight. It is essential that you check visa requirements of every country you will be visiting in Africa with the local embassy, consulate or a reputable visa handling company for the most up to date visa information before you travel.

Mozambique Visa requirements

A visa exemption program has been introduced for several nationalities, including UK, USA, Canada and Ireland for a 30-day stay.

Passport holders from countries requiring a visa including Australia and New Zealand, can obtain an visa upon arrival or alternatively, apply for a e-visa online in advance. NB: Online applications may take up to 7 days to process, please allow sufficient time as delays may occur. Supporting letters can be provided upon request within 42 days of departure.

All travelers to Mozambique, including those from visa-exempt countries, must complete an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) at least 48 hours before departure and pay a mandatory entry fee of 650 MZN (approximately USD $10). Travelers who fail to complete the ETA may be denied boarding or entry. Please see https://evisa.gov.mz for more information.

Mozambique visa regulations change frequently and without notice, so it is essential that all nationalities check the latest advice with the Mozambique embassy.
