Marrakech, Agafay & Coast

Welcome to Marrakech! Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

At 12:00pm, join a welcome meeting where you'll meet your guide and fellow travelers. Afterward, enjoy some free time before embarking on an optional city tour at 2pm. Discover the Koutoubia Mosque, a symbol of the city, and delve into the history of the Ben Youssef Madrassa. Wander through the mesmerising souks and end your tour in the bustling Jemaa El Fna square. Spend some time exploring before we regroup for dinner at the hotel.

Marrakech - Taroudant. We’ll begin our day with a scenic drive from Marrakech, heading towards Agadir along the highway. As we travel, we’ll pass through ever-changing landscapes—wide plains, dense argan tree forests, and rolling hills. The drive will be comfortable, with a few stops along the way for coffee, restroom breaks, and to snap some photos. Once we arrive in Taroudant, we’ll have the option to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant (own expense) before continuing on to the beautiful Tiout Oasis, located at the foot of the Anti-Atlas Mountains.

At the oasis, we’ll take a peaceful walk through the lush palm groves and argan trees. We’ll have the chance to meet local Berber families and visit a historic kasbah that overlooks the oasis, offering stunning panoramic views of the valley below.

After our visit to the oasis, we’ll head back to Taroudant, where we’ll have time to explore the town at a relaxed pace. We can wander through the medina, known for its silver jewelry, leather goods, and fragrant spices, and stroll along the city’s impressive walls, stopping to admire ornate gates like Bab El Kasbah and Bab Targhount. To wrap up our day, we’ll visit Assarag Square, where we can experience the lively rhythm of local life.

Taroudant - Essaouira. After breakfast in Taroudant, we’ll set off towards the Atlantic coast, passing through fertile valleys and stretches of argan tree groves. About 1.5 hours into our journey, we’ll arrive in Agadir, where we can take a short coffee break and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the seaside promenade, soaking in the refreshing ocean breeze.

From Agadir, we’ll continue our drive north along the stunning Atlantic coastline. The road offers breathtaking ocean views, traditional fishing villages, and expansive argan forests. We may make a brief stop in Taghazout, a laid-back surfer town known for its relaxed vibe and scenic beauty.

By early afternoon, we’ll reach the enchanting coastal town of Essaouira, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After checking into our hotel, we’ll have the option to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant (own expense) before heading out for our first walk through the medina. We’ll explore the historic ramparts of the Skala de la Kasbah, wander through the charming streets, and visit the bustling fishing port. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and explore at your own pace.

Essaouira - Agafay Desert. Enjoy a leisurely morning to further explore the charming coastal town of Essaouira at your own pace. Later, meet at the hotel and depart for the Agafay Desert. Located near Marrakech, Agafay Desert is known for its rocky, dune-like landscape. Upon arrival, we'll check into our desert tents. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or opt for an adventurous camel ride while watching the breathtaking sunset.

Agafay Desert -Marrakech. After breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic drive back to Marrakech. The tour ends upon arrival in Marrakech. Make your own way to the airport for your onward flight, or contact us if you would like to book a departure transfer.
