Day 1 - Rome - Naples
We will begin our journey at 4:30 p.m., setting off for the enchanting Campania region in southern Italy. Our destination is Naples, the country's third-largest city, renowned for its rich history, vibrant atmosphere, and distinct character. Here, you can explore the unique blend of ancient and modern influences that define this lively metropolis. We will spend the night in Naples, giving you the chance to rest and soak in the citys unique charm. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Naples - Capri - Pompeii - Rome
On our second day, we'll embark on a ferry journey to the enchanting island of Capri, known for its natural splendour and opulent lifestyle. The crossing takes approximately 45 minutes. Once there, you might choose to explore further by taking a boat trip to the Grotta Bianca or ascend via cable car to Capri town. A visit to the Gardens of Augustus offers breathtaking panoramic views that you might enjoy. After returning to Naples, you'll have free time to explore and enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, we'll visit the historic site of Pompeii, where a guided tour will reveal the once-thriving city's secrets, preserved under volcanic ash since Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD. We will then continue our journey back to Rome, arriving by the day's end.
Day 3 - Rome
Following breakfast, our time together concludes, leaving you with cherished memories of your journey. Enjoy your final hours in Rome, a city rich in history and culture, before continuing your travels.
