Day 1 - Berlin
Welcome to your journey! Upon your arrival in Berlin, we will transfer you to your hotel, where you can unwind and relax. Take advantage of your free time to explore the vibrant city at your own pace. In the afternoon, be sure to check the hotel reception boards for all the essential details regarding the start of your tour. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Berlin
We start our day in Berlin with a guided panoramic tour of the vibrant city, the heart of Germany. Our exploration covers the historic centre and iconic sites such as Museum Island, home to world-renowned museums, the impressive Reichstag building, and the iconic Brandenburg Gate. As we journey through the bustling shopping streets, we'll also enjoy the tranquillity of Berlin's beautiful parks. Together, we'll visit the poignant Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum, each offering a profound insight into the city's complex history. For those keen to explore further, you have the opportunity to visit Potsdam and its magnificent palaces during an optional excursion.
Day 3 - Berlin - Copenhagen
On the morning of your third day, indulge in some free time to explore Berlin at your own pace. At precisely 11:30 a.m., we will wave goodbye to the vibrant German capital and make our way northwards. Our journey includes a ferry crossing from Rostock, set to sail at 3:30 p.m., where the Baltic Sea will accompany us to Denmark over nearly two relaxing hours on a modern ship. Upon reaching Danish shores, we will drive through charming landscapes, arriving in the captivating city of Copenhagen by day's end.
Day 4 - Copenhagen
This morning, well embark on a guided panoramic tour of Copenhagen, a city celebrated for its exceptional quality of life, sustainability efforts, and vibrant cultural scene. Our exploration will include iconic sights such as The Little Mermaid, the charming Nyhavn harbour with its vividly coloured historic buildings, the exterior of Amalienborg Palacethe residence of the Danish royal familythe bustling Town Hall Square, and the lively Tivoli Park area. Following the tour, youll have free time to roam and discover the city at your own pace, immersing yourself in its unique charm and character.
Day 5 - Copenhagen - Jnkping - Vadstena - Stockholm
We will set off from Copenhagen and make our way to Elsinore, famously associated with Shakespeare's Hamlet and home to the impressive Kronborg Castle. Next, a brief ferry crossing of around 20 minutes takes us to Sweden. As we continue our journey, we will be treated to stunning vistas of expansive lakes and verdant forests en route to Jnkping. This charming, modern town lies beside a large lake, where you'll have the opportunity to explore and perhaps enjoy a spot of lunch. Our route then takes us to Vadstena, a noteworthy lakeside town celebrated for its quaint historic houses and a magnificent 14th-century castle, which once served as a monastery. Finally, we reach Stockholm in the evening, the vibrant capital of Sweden. Nestled within the archipelago of the Baltic Sea, this city is a marvel of interconnected islands, bridges, and ferries. Renowned for its fascinating history, extraordinary architecture, and harmonious blend of old and new, Stockholm is sure to leave you captivated.
Day 6 - Stockholm
Today, we will explore Stockholm, a stunning city famously built across 14 interconnected islands. Our day begins with a panoramic tour, highlighting Gamla Stan, the vibrant old town known as "the city between bridges." Here, you'll find yourself immersed in history as we visit remarkable sites such as the Nobel Prize Museum next to Stortorget Square, which pays tribute to Nobel laureates. The tour will also take in the Cathedral and the Royal Palace. Whenever feasible, we will pause to appreciate the breathtaking views from Fjllgatan viewpoint. Later, you'll have time at your leisure to delve deeper into this captivating city. We suggest visiting local museums and parks, with optional excursions to the City Hall and the Vasa Museum enhancing your experience.
Day 7 - Stockholm
Following breakfast, our tour concludes, allowing you to depart with cherished memories of your adventures.
