Day 1 - Berlin
Upon your arrival in Berlin, we will provide a transfer to your hotel, giving you time to settle in. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, perhaps exploring nearby attractions or simply relaxing after your journey. In the hotel reception area, you will find information boards detailing the start of your upcoming adventure, ensuring you're fully prepared for the days ahead. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Berlin
On your second day in Berlin, immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Germany's capital with a guided tour led by a local expert. From the comfort of our coach, we'll explore iconic sites such as Museum Island, the Television Tower, Berlin's bustling city centre, and the historic Brandenburg Gate. Day 8 - Zurich - Bellinzona - Como - Milan

These fortresses, perched majestically on the hills, offer testament to Bellinzonas role as a strategic stronghold through the ages. Youll have some free time to explore the charming streets of the town. We then cross into Italy to reach the delightful town of Como for a lunchtime pause. Our journey continues to the vibrant city of Milan, where our guide will introduce you to the impressive Piazza del Duomo. Day 9 - Milan - Pisa - Rome
Today, we set off on our journey to Pisa. We'll board a delightful tourist train that takes us to the remarkable Piazza dei Miracoli, or Square of Miracles. Here, you can marvel at an enchanting ensemble of Italian art and architecture, highlighted by the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa. After our visit, we will proceed to Rome, our next destination, where we will arrive later in the day.
Day 10 - Rome
Today, we delve into the heart of Rome with a captivating three-hour guided tour of this eternal city. Our exploration blends a walking tour through the grandeur of Imperial Rome with a panoramic coach ride showcasing the enduring spirit of one of Western civilisations most significant cities. Well marvel at iconic landmarks, including the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums, as well as the historic Circus Maximus and the magnificent Baths of Caracalla. Our journey continues past the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Pyramid of Cestius, and the majestic Castel SantAngelo. We conclude the tour at Vatican City just before midday, where you may opt for an enriching visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, arranged by our knowledgeable guide. As the day winds down, we immerse ourselves in the vibrant ambience of the Trastevere neighbourhood. Known for its quaint cobbled streets and inviting eateries, its the perfect spot to savour local cuisine. Our return to the hotel is scheduled for around 8:30 p.m.
Day 11 - Rome - Madrid
On Day 11, at the time arranged by your guide, we will transfer you to the airport for a domestic flight, which is included in your itinerary. Upon arrival at your destination, a transfer to your hotel will be provided. Your guide will reconnect with you in the late afternoon, or you may find further information regarding your schedule at the hotel reception. Please be mindful about your luggage allowance for the domestic flight: one suitcase of up to 20 kg is usually permitted in the hold, with any excess luggage fees payable directly to the airline.
Day 12 - Madrid
We begin the morning with an immersive tour of central Madrid, taking in the city's famous landmarks. We'll explore Paseo del Prado, home to some of Madrids most prestigious museums, and admire the elegant fountains at Cibeles and Neptuno. Youll see the grandeur of Puerta de Alcal and stroll through Plaza de Coln and Plaza Mayor. Our day continues with a visit to Retiro Park, a tranquil retreat in the heart of the city, where well see the picturesque lake and the impressive Palacio de Cristal. Day 13 - Madrid - Zaragoza - Poblet - Barcelona
Today, we set out in the morning to explore the region of Aragon, travelling through scenic landscapes of Castile. Our first stop will be Zaragoza, where you can marvel at the remarkable Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, a stunning example of Baroque architecture. Continuing our journey, we head to Poblet Abbey, one of the world's most well-preserved medieval monasteries, where entry tickets are included. In the evening, we'll arrive in Barcelona, ready to embrace the vibrant atmosphere of this dynamic city.
Day 14 - Barcelona

Day 16 - Valencia - Alicante - Caravaca de la Cruz - Granada

Our journey then continues into the Murcia region, where we'll visit Caravaca de la Cruz. This city holds religious significance, recognised as a Holy City by the Roman Catholic Church, and is home to a revered relic of the Cross. Here, we'll enjoy a scenic ride on a small train through the historic area, which promises to enhance your understanding of its rich history. As the day draws to a close, we'll travel along beautiful roads heading toward Andalusia, arriving in the vibrant city of Granada. Day 17 - Granada
Today, we dedicate our day to the enchanting city of Granada. If your tour includes tickets, you'll have the opportunity to explore the magnificent Alhambra Palace, a remarkable relic from the Arab era, and its splendid Generalife Gardens. These masterpieces showcase the region's rich cultural history. In the afternoon, you are free to wander through the city's charming streets at your own pace, perhaps visiting the cathedral renowned for housing the tombs of the Catholic Monarchs. Please note that the number of visitors allowed into the Alhambra is strictly regulated, so tickets are issued upon confirmation of your reservation. Be sure to provide accurate personal details, such as your full name and passport or ID number, when booking, as these ticket costs are non-refundable upon cancellation. In the unlikely event that visiting the Alhambra is not possible, we will instead offer a tour of the Royal Alczar of Seville, which holds similar historical and architectural significance.
Day 18 - Granada - Malaga - Marbella - Ronda - Seville
Leaving Granada, we set off towards the sun-drenched Costa del Sol. Our first stop is the vibrant city of Malaga, where youll have time to explore its charming historic district, home to a magnificent cathedral and the renowned Picasso Museum. We then continue our scenic drive along the Mediterranean coastline, marvelling at the picturesque views, until we reach Puerto Bans in Marbella. This elegant marina is known for its luxury yachts and sophisticated ambiance. As the afternoon unfolds, we traverse the mountains where stories of local bandits enrich our journey, heading towards the enchanting town of Ronda. Perched dramatically on a cliffside, Ronda is famously divided by a deep canyon offering stunning vistas. Our day concludes with an evening arrival in Seville, where well enjoy dinner at the hotel, relaxing after a day full of discovery.
Day 19 - Seville
This morning, we'll embark on an enriching tour of Seville, taking in the majestic cathedral and its renowned Giralda bell tower. As we explore the city, we'll also pass by the banks of the Guadalquivir River and meander through the charming neighbourhoods of Santa Cruz and Triana, each offering a glimpse into the local culture and history. Following our city tour, we'll unwind on a leisurely boat ride along the Guadalquivir Riveran ideal opportunity to soak in the scenic vistas. Day 20 - Seville - Merida - Evora - Lisbon
As we depart from Seville, we will pass through the picturesque landscapes of gently rolling hills and vast pasturelands en route to Extremadura. Our first stop is Mrida, where we'll explore the Archaeological Ensemble, including the remarkably preserved Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre, a recognised World Heritage Site. You will have time to savour lunch and wander around the lively, pedestrian-centric historic centre, bustling with charming restaurants. Continuing our journey, we will cross into Portugal and make a stop in vora, another World Heritage Site. Here, you'll experience its iconic whitewashed streets, Renaissance-era palaces, and a majestic cathedral. We will conclude the day by arriving in Lisbon in the evening.
Day 21 - Lisbon
This morning, we will embark on an exploration of Lisbon, the enchanting Portuguese capital known for its picturesque seven hills. You will wander through its charming alleys and admire the distinctive tiles that adorn its buildings, all under the city's glorious Atlantic light, which evokes a sense of "saudade"a uniquely Portuguese feeling of longing. We will also visit the historic Belem district, famed as the point from which legendary Portuguese explorers launched their voyages across the oceans during the 15th century. You will then have the afternoon free to continue discovering Lisbon at your own pace. Perhaps venture to the Bairro Alto district, known for its stunning viewpoint, or consider an optional excursion to the neighbouring towns of Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril.
