Upon arrival, well arrange your transfer to the hotel, after which you'll have the opportunity to unwind and explore the city at your own pace. Later, helpful details about your tour will be available on the information boards in the hotel reception area. Enjoy your first moments in this historic and vibrant city as you settle in. Day 2 - Berlin
Today, we delve into Berlin, the captivating capital of Germany. Our local guide will lead us on an insightful tour, where from the comfort of our coach, we'll witness some of the city's most iconic sites. These include the UNESCO-listed Museum Island, the soaring Television Tower, and the bustling shopping streets in the heart of the city. You will also spy the remains of the old cathedral, ravaged during World War II. Day 3 - Berlin - Dresden - Prague
Today, we journey through enchanting forests towards the city of Dresden, known for its remarkable architectural and artistic heritage. As one of Germanys premier tourist destinations, Dresden offers an array of impressive palaces for you to explore. Take the opportunity to enjoy lunch at one of its numerous charming restaurants and cafs. In the afternoon, we continue our travels to the Czech Republic, arriving in the vibrant city of Prague. We will visit the lively Old Town Squarea bustling hub full of energy and activitiesperfect for your first experience of the city. Here, a variety of international dining options await you, featuring Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian cuisines. After dinner, we will return to our hotel, ready for more adventures tomorrow.
Day 4 - Prague
Today, we immerse ourselves in the captivating charm of Prague, often referred to as the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our day begins with a guided panoramic tour led by a local expert, offering insights into the city's most iconic monuments. This includes a visit to the historic Prague Castle, where entrance is included, enhancing our appreciation of this architectural masterpiece. Following this, we will embark on a delightful boat ride along the Vltava River, offering a unique perspective of the cityscape. The afternoon is yours to explore Prague's vibrant streets and discover its hidden gems at your leisure.
Day 5 - Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
On day five, well set off early and make our way to Bavaria, Germany. By midday, we will arrive in Munich where youll have the opportunity to explore the historic city centre and savour lunch at your leisure. As the afternoon unfolds, we continue our adventure into Austria. Upon reaching the heart of the Alps, youll have time to discover Innsbruck, the Tyrolean capital. Enjoy a delightful evening exploring the Golden Roof area and the charming Old Town. There will be ample time for dinner before the day concludes.
Day 6 - Innsbruck - Zurich
Begin your day with a visit to the Swarovski Museum, the renowned home of glittering crystals, where we will explore its captivating gardens and discover the craftsmanship behind the superb Swarovski creations. Following this visit, enjoy some leisure time to wander around. We then set off for Zurich, passing through the picturesque Tyrolean landscape en route. On arriving in Zurich, you'll have the evening to spend in the historic centre by the lake, where an array of restaurants awaits, offering a delightful mix of Indian, Oriental, Italian, International, and Swiss cuisines.
Day 7 - Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich
Today's adventure takes us from Zurich to the enchanting landscapes around Interlaken. We will begin our day in Grindelwald, a lovely mountain village where we will pause for a coffee break before embarking on a cable car journey up the mountainside. Once at the top, theres an opportunity to traverse a suspended bridge, offering adventurous travellers spectacular views of the surrounding glaciers. Lunch will be enjoyed on the mountain, providing a chance to admire the breathtaking scenery. Our next destination is Lucerne, acclaimed as one of Switzerland's most picturesque cities. You'll have time here to wander through the charming streets and savour the idyllic cityscape before we return to Zurich. Additionally, our guide will suggest an optional full-day excursion. After exploring Lucerne, you might choose a rotating cable car ride to the summit of Mount Titlis, where at over 3,000 metres, you'll be greeted by stunning views of the Alps and the glacier.
Day 8 - Zurich - Bellinzona - Como - Milan
Well depart Zurich early, traversing the mesmerising Alpine landscape as we head into the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. Our first stop is Bellinzona, known for its trio of striking medieval castles, which are recognised as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These fortresses, perched on the hills, underline Bellinzonas historical role as a strategic alpine stronghold. You'll have some time to explore the charming streets of this historical centre at your leisure. Afterwards, we continue into Italy, stopping in the delightful town of Como for a lunch break. Nestled in the region of Lombardy, Como is famed for its scenic lakefront gardens and its stunning cathedral. With your appetite satisfied, we resume our journey to Milan. Upon arrival, our guide will lead us to the impressive Piazza del Duomo, where you can enjoy some free time before we transfer you to your hotel for the night.
Day 9 - Milan - Pisa - Rome
Our adventure today takes us from Milan to the enchanting city of Pisa. We will embark on a charming tourist train ride to the renowned Piazza dei Miracoli, also known as the Square of Miracles. Here, you will have the opportunity to marvel at one of Italys most iconic architectural ensembles, which includes the celebrated Leaning Tower of Pisa. Once you have taken in the awe-inspiring sights, we will continue our journey to the historic city of Rome, where we will arrive later in the day, ready to discover its rich heritage.
Day 10 - Rome
This morning, immerse yourself in the captivating history of Rome with a guided three-hour tour of this majestic city, often hailed as the cradle of Western civilisation. We will weave through Imperial Rome on foot and enjoy a panoramic bus ride, uncovering some of the city's most renowned landmarks. Our exploration includes the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the iconic Colosseum, and the ancient Imperial Forums. We'll also pass by the Circus Maximus, the grand Baths of Caracalla, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, and the enigmatic Pyramid of Cestius. Our journey continues with the intriguing Castel Sant'Angelo, before culminating at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m. Here, you can opt to delve deeper into history with an optional visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. As evening approaches, well transport you to the lively Trastevere neighbourhood, famous for its warm hospitality and vibrant dining scene. Our return to the hotel is scheduled for around 8:30 p.m.
Day 11 - Rome - Madrid
Today, we'll organise your transfer to the airport for a domestic flight included in your tour. Upon arrival at your destination, another transfer will take you to your hotel. Your guide will be in contact later in the afternoon, or you can check the hotel reception for further details. Please note that domestic flights usually allow one suitcase of up to 20 kg in the hold; any additional baggage fees should be settled directly with the airline.
Day 12 - Madrid
Begin your day in the heart of Madrid with an engaging tour of the city's vibrant centre. We'll pass iconic landmarks such as Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcal, Plaza de Coln, and Plaza Mayor. Our exploration continues at Retiro Park, a serene escape in the bustling city, where you'll see the picturesque lake and the stunning Palacio de Cristal. Afterward, we'll head to the renowned Santiago Bernabu Stadium, home to the legendary Real Madridentry is included in your visit. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. Well reconvene in the evening to provide a transfer back to your hotel.
Day 13 - Madrid - Zaragoza - Poblet - Barcelona
In the morning, we'll set off for the region of Aragon, travelling through the picturesque landscapes of Castile. Our journey begins with a visit to Zaragoza, where we will have the opportunity to marvel at the exquisite Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. From here, we will continue to the tranquil Poblet Abbey, a remarkable example of medieval architecture, which is one of the best-preserved monasteries in the world. Admission to the abbey is included in the itinerary. As the day draws to a close, we will make our way to Barcelona, arriving in the evening ready to explore another enchanting city the following day.
Day 14 - Barcelona
We spend the morning exploring Barcelona, a captivating European capital situated along the Mediterranean. On our panoramic tour, youll encounter the citys unique blend of history and modernity, marked by Gaudi's extraordinary modernist architecture and the lively atmosphere of Las Ramblas. The citys rich past shines through, having hosted both the Universal Exposition and the Olympics. The afternoon is yours to explore further, whether it's delving deeper into the local culture or simply relaxing. In the evening, we will arrange a transfer to Maremagnum, a modern hub filled with entertainment and dining choices near Plaza de Coln. Enjoy a relaxing evening by the sea, choosing from a variety of culinary experiences.
Day 15 - Barcelona
