Day 1 - Berlin
Upon your arrival in Berlin, enjoy a warm welcome and a convenient transfer to your hotel. Once you've settled in, take some time to explore the vibrant city at your own pace or simply relax and soak up the atmosphere. Later in the afternoon, make your way to the hotel reception where you will find key information about the start of your tour. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Berlin
Today, we dive into Berlin's rich history and vibrant culture with a guided panoramic tour of this fascinating capital. Well explore the historic city centre, including the renowned Museum Island and the striking Reichstag building. As we make our way through the city, we will visit iconic landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate and stroll along bustling shopping streets, all while admiring the citys picturesque parks. Our itinerary also brings us to the poignant Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum, offering a moment to reflect on the profound historical events that have shaped the city. For those interested in extending the experience, you have the option to embark on an excursion to Potsdam, where you can explore its magnificent palaces.
Day 3 - Berlin - Copenhagen
Enjoy a relaxing morning in Berlin with free time to explore as you wish. We will depart the vibrant German capital at 11:30 a.m., heading north towards our next destination. In Rostock, we will board a ferry at 3:30 p.m. for a scenic Baltic Sea crossing to Denmark, which will take just under two hours. Take the opportunity to relax and enjoy the amenities on this modern ship during the picturesque journey. Once we arrive in Denmark, the coach will continue through the beautiful Danish landscapes, eventually reaching the charming city of Copenhagen by the end of the day.
Day 4 - Copenhagen
This morning, we embark on an engaging panoramic tour of Copenhagen, a city renowned for its outstanding quality of life, dedication to sustainability, and vibrant cultural scene. With a knowledgeable local guide, well visit some of the Danish capital's most iconic landmarks, including the enchanting sculpture of The Little Mermaid, the lively and picturesque Nyhavn harbour with its colourful historic buildings, the exterior of the stately Amalienborg Palace home to the Danish royal family and the bustling Town Hall Square. We'll also explore the area surrounding the famous Tivoli Gardens. Following the tour, youll have time to discover the city on your own, allowing you to delve deeper into the sights and sounds of Copenhagen at your own pace.
Day 5 - Copenhagen
Following breakfast, our tour comes to a close, leaving you with cherished memories of your adventure. If you wish, take advantage of some free time to further explore Copenhagen at your own pace before departing. Whether it's a leisurely stroll through the citys charming streets or a final visit to one of its vibrant markets or museums, you'll find plenty to capture your interest in Denmarks capital.
