Day 1 - Berlin
Welcome to your tour! Upon your arrival in Berlin, you'll be transferred to your hotel where you can relax and enjoy some leisure time. Day 2 - Berlin
On our second day in Berlin, we'll dive into the city's rich heritage with a guided panoramic tour. Discover the historic heart of Germany's capital as we explore its cultural landmarks, including the renowned Museum Island, the governmental seat at the Reichstag, and the iconic Brandenburg Gate. We'll also wander through Berlin's vibrant shopping districts and lush parks. Our day includes poignant visits to the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum, providing a reflective glimpse into the city's past. In the afternoon, why not consider an optional excursion to Potsdam, famed for its stunning palaces?
Day 3 - Berlin - Dresden - Bamberg - Nuremberg
On the third day of our journey, we will make our way to Dresden, beautifully situated on the banks of the River Elbe. In Dresden, you can take in the grandeur of its stunning palace before we travel onward to Bavaria. Our next destination is the enchanting city of Bamberg, known for its vibrant atmosphere and picturesque charmbe sure not to miss the delightful area known as Little Venice. Following Bamberg, we continue to Nuremberg, Bavaria's second-largest city, rich with historical significance. While here, we recommend a visit to the site that once housed Hitler's Coliseum, providing deeper insight into the city's complex past.
Day 4 - Nuremberg - Kloster Weltenburg - Dachau - Munich
Today's itinerary promises to be both intriguing and educational. We begin our day in Kelheim, where we embark on a short boat cruise through the picturesque Danube Gorge, showcasing the region's natural beauty. Our first destination is Kloster Weltenburg, a splendid Benedictine monastery with a rich history dating back to 1040. This is followed by a visit to Dachau, where we will explore the poignant exhibits of the Nazi concentration camp museuma sobering yet vital part of history. After lunch, we proceed to Munich to discover the BMW Welt, an impressive facility highlighting the renowned German automotive brand. Our journey also takes us to the Olympiapark, the site of the 1972 Olympic Games, where the stadium's architecture continues to inspire. Finally, enjoy some free time in Munich's historic centre. You might choose to wander through Marienplatz, the city's central square, explore the vibrant Viktualienmarkt, relax in the peaceful Englischer Garten, or savour a drink in one of the traditional beer houses. Please note that during winter or when the Danube's water level is too low, the cruise will be replaced with a visit to Landshut, and although Kloster Weltenburg will be closed, you will still have the opportunity to view it from outside.
Day 5 - Munich - Fussen - Rothenburg - Frankfurt
Today, we embark on a journey through the enchanting landscapes of Bavaria, beginning with a drive to Fssen, cradled amidst the majestic alpine peaks. Our visit includes the iconic Neuschwanstein Castle, a fairy-tale structure that inspired Walt Disney. From there, we'll take a bus to Marys Bridge, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the gorge. You have the choice to return either by foot or horse carriage (not included). Continuing our adventure along the famed Romantic Road, we will arrive in Rothenburg, a charming walled city. Here, we will visit the delightful Christmas Museum, with your admission included, offering a glimpse into festive traditions. Our day concludes in Frankfurt, known as Germanys financial hub, where we arrive in the evening.
Day 6 - Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cologne - Dortmund
Our day begins with an exploration of the picturesque Rhine and Moselle Valleys, regions rich in history and dotted with charming villages. We embark on a scenic cruise along what is arguably the most stunning section of the Rhine River, between Rdesheim and St. Goar. After soaking in the views, we make our way to the Moselle River, stopping for lunch in Cochem, renowned for its picturesque setting on the bank of the Rhine and dominated by its thousand-year-old castle. Our journey then takes us to Cologne, where you will have the opportunity to visit its impressive Gothic cathedral. Once the tallest structure in the world, this architectural marvel stands at 154 metres. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Rhine and explore the vibrant city centre before we proceed to our hotel in Dortmund. Please note that during fairs or congresses, accommodation may be in a nearby city.
Day 7 - Dortmund - Fairy Tale Route - Hannover
Today, we'll embark on an enchanting journey along the Fairy Tale Route, inspired by the timeless stories of the Brothers Grimm. Our first stop is Trendelburg, a quaint village encircled by ancient walls. Here, well explore the grand medieval castle, home to the renowned Rapunzel Tower, with your admission included. Well continue our drive through picturesque landscapes and dense forests reminiscent of the tale of Hansel and Gretel, stopping for lunch in Hxter. Known for its lively atmosphere, Hxter is home to Corvey Abbey, an esteemed 9th-century monastery and World Heritage Site, where we also have included admission. Our journey proceeds to the village of Polle, where you'll visit the storied ruins of Cinderella's Castleadmission also included.Next, we visit Hamelin, the town made famous by the story "The Pied Piper of Hamelin." Following the trail of the legendary mouse tracks, well then head to Hanover. Upon arrival, there's time to enjoy a leisurely walk and explore the area around the old town hall. Please note that during fairs or conferences, accommodation might be provided in a nearby city, and Corvey Abbey is closed from November to February.
Day 8 - Hannover - Hamburg - Flensburg - Aarhus
Following breakfast, we'll set off for Hamburg, a city known for its vibrant port nestled around a scenic lake. After our exploration and a break for lunch, our journey continues to Flensburg, a delightful seaside town with a marina, situated near the Danish border. We then head along the Jutland Peninsula, leading us to Aarhus, Denmarks second-largest city.
Day 9 - Aarhus - Kristiansand Ferry - Kristiansand - Stavanger
On day nine, we begin by travelling from Aarhus to Hirtshals, where we board a ferry across the North Sea to Norway. This three-hour voyage will take us to Kristiansand, a city on Norway's southern coastline, renowned for its scenic beauty. Once we disembark, we continue our journey along this stunning coast, stopping in the charming town of Flekkefjord. Our final destination for the day is Stavanger, a picturesque town boasting a vibrant port situated by the fjord. Please note, ferry schedules are subject to change depending on the month, but there is typically ample time for lunch on board.
Day 10 - Stavanger - Bergen
Departing from Stavanger, we pause at the Swords in Rock monument, a striking tribute to the Viking Age, before we embark on a remarkable journey along Norways fjord-ridden coast. Our route is punctuated by scenic tunnels and bridges, including the deepest undersea tunnel in the world. We also enjoy boat trips that make this part of the expedition both relaxing and visually spectacular. Arriving in Bergen around lunchtime, we take a thrilling cable car ride up Mount Flyen, offering breathtaking views of the town and the majestic Bergen fjord. Following this, you have the chance to wander through Bergen, known as the gateway to Norway's fjords, at your leisure, soaking in its vibrant atmosphere and iconic backdrop.
Day 11 - Bergen - Sognefjord - Oslo
Today, we venture through some of Norway's most stunning landscapes, featuring magnificent fjords, glaciers, lakes, and forests. Our journey takes us to Sognefjord, known as Norway's longest and deepest fjord. En route, we'll pause at the spectacular Tvindefossen Waterfall, capturing the beauty of cascading waters. We then embark on a captivating cruise between Gudvangen and Aurland, soaking in the breathtaking scenery of this hour-and-a-half voyage. It's a perfect time to enjoy lunch on board amidst serene surroundings.Continuing our adventure, we'll traverse through remarkable snowy landscapes and pass through the Aurland Tunnel, celebrated as the longest road tunnel in the world. A brief stop allows us to admire the exterior of Borgund Stave Church, celebrated as the most well-preserved medieval wooden church in Norway. Our day concludes with an arrival in Oslo, where you have the freedom to explore the city's vibrant port, main streets, and the intriguing artworks in Frogner Park at your leisure.
Day 12 - Oslo - Orebro - Stockholm
In the morning, we embark on a guided panoramic tour of Oslo, the vibrant capital of Norway. Noted for its blend of modern architecture, classic buildings, and expansive parks adorned with sculptures, Oslo holds the proud title of European Green Capital. Following the tour, you will have free time to explore the citys cultural and natural offerings at your leisure.After soaking up the sights of Oslo, our journey continues as we cross the border into Sweden. We travel through enchanting landscapes filled with vast forests and shimmering lakes, making our way to rebro. Day 13 - Stockholm
Today, we embark on an insightful panoramic tour of Stockholm, a stunning capital spread across 14 interconnected islands. Our exploration begins in Gamla Stan, the vibrant old quarter often called "the city between bridges." Here, you'll encounter monumental buildings such as the Nobel Prize Museum, nestled beside the main square of Stortorget, which honours Nobel Prize laureates. Well also visit the majestic Cathedral and the Royal Palace. Whenever possible, we will take in the breathtaking views from the Fjllgatan viewpoint. Following our guided tour, you'll have leisure time to delve deeper into the city. We recommend exploring Stockholm's renowned museums and lush parks. Alternatively, you can opt for visits to the City Hall and the Vasa Museum, which offer additional insights into the city's rich history and culture.
Day 14 - Stockholm - Stockholm - Turku Ferry
Spend your day at leisure in Stockholm, where you can explore this stunning city at your own pace. As evening falls, well embark on an overnight voyage to Finland aboard a modern ferry. Youll be accommodated in comfortable double en-suite cabins for a restful night at sea.
Day 15 - Stockholm - Turku Ferry - Naantali - Helsinki
Upon arrival in Finland, it's worth heading to the ships deck at sunrise to witness the enchanting landscapes of the land Islands, a captivating collection of hundreds of forested islets. Following our ferry disembarkation, you will have the opportunity to explore Turku, a city with deep-rooted Swedish influences. Our journey continues to Naantali, a quaint coastal town noted for its charming wooden houses. We will reach Helsinki by lunchtime, allowing you the afternoon to delve into the capitals offerings. You might explore its historic market, admire Russian-influenced architecture, or visit its array of beautiful churches.
Day 16 - Helsinki - Helsinki - Tallinn Ferry - Tallinn
Today's adventure begins with an intriguing boat excursion to the Suomenlinna Islands, a cluster of six islands housing an impressive fortress that once safeguarded Helsinki's entrance. Now recognised as a World Heritage Site, it's an ideal spot for exploration, with pedestrian bridges connecting the islands. In the afternoon, our journey continues as we board a ferry heading to Estonia. This two-and-a-half-hour crossing offers stunning vistas of the surrounding islands as we depart from Helsinki. By evening, we'll reach the enchanting city of Tallinn, ready for new discoveries.

Today, we find ourselves in the enchanting city of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, renowned for its remarkably preserved medieval heart. Join us for a panoramic tour as we delve into the city's rich history, walking along its ancient walls, exploring its charming churches, and visiting its bustling squares. Wander through picturesque medieval streets, each brimming with character and fascinating sights. In the afternoon, youll have free time to further explore at your own pace, perhaps uncovering hidden gems or relaxing in a local caf.
