Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome
Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After check in, the rest of the day is at your leisure. Venture out and explore or relax at the hotel!
Day 2 - The Mighty Pyramids
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, before venturing out for a guided tour to one of the seven wonders of the world - the Pyramids of Giza. Make sure to visit the Cheops Pyramid, as its interior burial chambers are open for visits by the public. Not far from the Pyramids, you will also visit the Great Sphinx of Giza. This unforgettable statue combines the head of a Pharaoh with a lion's body.
Afterwards, continue the tour at the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum. Showcasing more than 100,000 artefacts from the prehistoric era to the Greco-Roman period, the museum offers a remarkable journey through Egypt’s ancient past. Marvel at its wondrous collection of statues, jewels, and treasures — including the complete assemblage from Tutankhamun’s tomb, featuring his chariots, exquisite jewellery, and iconic golden mask.
Finally, head downtown to Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Navigate its enchanting narrow alleyways and explore an array of souvenir stores. Here, amidst the vibrant atmosphere, uncover small restaurants and cafes frequented by both locals and tourists.
Day 3 - Amazing Alexandria
Cairo - Alexandria. After breakfast, you'll embark for Alexandria where a guided tour awaits.
Our first stop - the Pompey's Column - stands thirty meters tall and is crafted from Aswan pink granite. While here, we will also visit the entrance of the Kom el-Shoqafa Catacombs. Perched atop a hill, these catacombs were discovered by chance in the early 20th century.
Next stop is the Montaza Gardens, a sprawling 150-hectare park surrounding the palace of Khedive Abbas. Admire the captivating architecture as you stroll through the gardens or relax on the sandy beaches.
Then, visit the Alexandrina Bibliotheca - the New Library of Alexandria. Dedicated to reviving the spirit of the original Bibliotheca Alexandrina, this institution encompasses 13 different departments. Beyond being a library, it serves as the hub for various international and regional networks.
As today's tour draws to an end, catch a glimpse of the Qaitbay Citadel, which was erected around 1480 on the site of the ancient Alexandria lighthouse.
Day 4 - Back to Cairo
Alexandria - Cairo. Enjoy hotel breakfast, then bid farewell to Alexandria as you check out and embark on a scenic drive back to Cairo.
Upon arrival in Cairo, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Choose to unwind at the hotel or explore the vibrant city at your own pace.
