Day 1 - Copenhagen
Welcome to your journey! Upon your arrival in Copenhagen, we will arrange your transfer to the hotel. You will have some leisure time to acclimatise and perhaps start exploring the vibrant Danish capital at your own pace. In the afternoon, you can find essential details regarding the commencement of your tour on the information boards located at the hotel reception, ensuring you are well-prepared for the days ahead. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Copenhagen - Odense - Aarhus
In the morning, we embark on a captivating panoramic tour of Copenhagen, the bustling and vibrant capital of Denmark. With a local guide, we'll explore the city's highlights, including the enchanting Tivoli Gardens, the grand Christiansborg Palace, the picturesque terraces of Nyhavn, and the iconic Little Mermaid statue. Late in the morning, our adventure continues as we travel to Jutland, Denmark's largest peninsula. Our journey includes crossing an impressive 20 km bridge over the sea, leading us to Odense. Here, we'll visit the citys notable sites, such as its Gothic cathedral and the Hans Christian Andersen House, which celebrates the beloved fairy tale author. Upon our arrival in Aarhus, you will have the freedom to explore the city at your own pace, perhaps enjoying its modern attractions or relaxing in one of its charming cafs.
Day 3 - Aarhus - Kristiansand Ferry - Kristiansand - Stavanger
On the morning of our third day, we head towards the port town of Hirtshals. Here, we board a ferry for a scenic three-hour journey across the North Sea to Kristiansand, Norway. This voyage typically allows time for lunch on the ferry, though schedules may vary depending on the month. Upon arrival in Kristiansand, we continue our adventure along the captivating Norwegian southern coastline. Our first stop is the quaint town of Flekkefjord, offering a glimpse of charming Norwegian life. Following this, we make our way to Stavanger, a delightful town noted for its lively port nestled by the fjord. This journey provides a perfect blend of exploration and relaxation as we traverse a beautiful sequence of seascapes and townscapes.
Day 4 - Stavanger - Bergen
As we leave Stavanger, we'll make a brief stop at the Swords in Rock monument, an impressive tribute to Norway's Viking heritage. Our journey continues along a breathtaking scenic route that includes navigating through tunnels and across bridges, as well as two delightful boat trips along Norway's fjord coast. Notably, one of these tunnels is the deepest undersea tunnel in the world. By lunchtime, we'll arrive in Bergen, where we'll ascend Mount Flyen via cable car. From the summit, enjoy stunning panoramic views over Bergen and its surrounding fjord. After this, you're free to discover Bergen at your own pace a city often referred to as the gateway to Norway's fjords.
Day 5 - Bergen - Sognefjord - Oslo
Today, we will encounter some of Norway's most spectacular landscapes, featuring fjords, glaciers, lakes, and forests. Our journey will lead us to Sognefjord, the largest fjord in Norway, where we can admire the natural beauty. En route, we'll make a stop at the breathtaking Tvindefossen Waterfall, providing a perfect photo opportunity.Next, we'll embark on an awe-inspiring cruise from Gudvangen to Aurland, an hour-and-a-half voyage set against a backdrop of remarkable scenery. We suggest having lunch onboard to maximise your enjoyment of this serene environment. Continuing our travels, we'll traverse stunning snow-clad terrains and journey through the impressive Aurland Tunnel, the world's longest.We'll pause briefly to view the exterior of Borgund Stave Church, an excellently preserved example of medieval wooden architecture in Norway. Finally, well arrive in Oslo in the evening, where you will have free time to explore the city. You might choose to wander around the port, stroll down the main streets, or take in the artistic wonders at Frogner Park.
Day 6 - Oslo - Oslo - Copenhagen Ferry
Today, we start with a panoramic tour of Oslo, Norway's vibrant capital, celebrated for its commitment to sustainability and surrounded by magnificent natural beauty. Accompanied by our knowledgeable local guide, we'll pass landmarks such as the Royal Palace, take time to admire the extensive collection of sculptures in Frogner Park, and see the exterior of the City Hall, the historic old port, and the striking new Opera House.Following the tour, you'll have the liberty to explore Oslo at your own pace. Whether you choose to delve further into the citys diverse museums or wander its charming streets, the choice is yours.In the afternoon, we'll board a contemporary night ferry, featuring the comforts akin to a cruise ship, for our journey back to Denmark. Accommodation in comfortable cabins is provided, and you'll enjoy breakfast onboard. Please be ready to board by 2:00 p.m., as our ferry sets sail at 3:00 p.m., with a scheduled arrival in Copenhagen the next morning at 10:00 a.m. Do bear in mind that ferry schedules are subject to change, so we recommend checking for any updates. Enjoy your time on the sea, as this marks our final evening with ample time to relax and reflect on our experiences.
Day 7 - Oslo - Copenhagen Ferry - Copenhagen
We will arrive in Copenhagen in the morning, disembarking from our overnight ferry. Our day begins with a panoramic tour of this vibrant city, guided by a local who will illuminate the highlights of Denmark's capital. Known for its stellar quality of life, strong focus on sustainability, and rich cultural heritage, Copenhagen offers much to explore. On our tour, we'll stop by the famous Little Mermaid statue and take a leisurely walk along the lively Nyhavn Harbour, where historic, colourful buildings line the waterfront. We'll also see the exterior of Amalienborg Palace, the residence of the Danish royal family, and explore the bustling City Hall Square and the Tivoli Gardens area. After the tour, you'll have the afternoon to indulge in the city's offerings at your own pace. Whether it's diving into a museum or simply enjoying a coffee at a local caf, the choice is yours to make the most of your time in Copenhagen.

Following breakfast, our journey concludes, offering you a wealth of unforgettable memories to cherish.
