Day 1 - Copenhagen
Welcome to your journey! As you arrive in Copenhagen, we will ensure you're comfortably transferred to your hotel. Once settled, youll have some free time to unwind and begin exploring this captivating city at your own pace. In the afternoon, remember to check the information boards at the hotel reception for details about the start of our tour. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Copenhagen - Rostock - Szczecin
Following breakfast, we will set off towards the quaint town of Gedser, situated at the southernmost point of Scandinavia. At approximately 11:00 a.m., we will board a modern ferry for a two-hour journey across the Baltic Sea to Germany. We suggest having lunch on the ferry during this crossing. Upon arriving in Rostock, you will have time to explore this spirited city, which boasts Germanys largest port on the Baltic Sea. Rostock's vibrant old town is rich with landmarks, including the Market Square, the City Hall, and St. Mary's Church.We will then continue our journey through the Pomerania region towards Poland, arriving in Szczecin by the evening. Situated on the banks of the Oder River, Szczecin is a historical university city. The city's charming historic centre is home to the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle and scenic riverside terraces. You will have free time to wander around and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere.
Day 3 - Szczecin - Bydgoszcz - Torun - Warsaw
Following breakfast, we'll journey through the tranquil landscapes of western Polandan area that was part of Germany until the end of the Second World War. Our first destination is Bydgoszcz, a city celebrated for its lovely architecture and picturesque parks and canals that link the Vistula and Oder rivers. You'll have the opportunity to explore Bydgoszcz and perhaps enjoy lunch amidst its charming surroundings. Our adventure continues to Toru?, a remarkable walled Gothic city with a stunning historic centre listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This city is also famed as the birthplace of the astronomer Copernicus, and you'll have the chance to visit his museum-house should you wish. We'll then journey onward, arriving in Warsaw, the bustling capital of Poland, by the end of the day.
Day 4 - Warsaw
Today, we explore the vibrant capital of Poland, beginning with a guided panoramic tour of Warsaw. The city, home to nearly two million residents, serves as the political and economic heart of the nation. Our tour will unveil a fascinating blend of contemporary architecture alongside meticulously restored historical structures. As we meander through the charming old town, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you'll appreciate the efforts made to rebuild its cobbled streets and the Royal Palace after World War II. Our journey includes a visit to the Palace of Culture, a striking Soviet-gifted skyscraper, and insights into the poignant history of the former Jewish ghetto, once Europe's largest. We'll also enjoy the tranquillity of ?azienki Park, highlighted by the renowned Chopin Monument. The afternoon is yours to explore at leisureconsider visiting the National Museum, delving into the compelling exhibits of the Warsaw Rising Museum, or simply soaking up the lively atmosphere of the city centre with its variety of shops and activities.
Day 5 - Warsaw - Olsztyn - Elblag Canal - Malbork - Gdansk
After breakfast, we set off towards northern Poland, beginning with a stop in Olsztynek to explore the Museum of Folk Architecture, an open-air display that includes quaint wooden houses, traditional mills, and an old-world church, transporting you back in time. Entry is included with the tour. Our next destination is the Elblag Canal, renowned for being Poland's longest navigable canal. Here you can learn about the engineering marvel of hauling boats over land on rails to traverse differences in elevation. We continue on to Malbork, home to one of Europe's grandest medieval castles, built in the 13th century by the Teutonic Order. Admission to the castle via the green route is included. By evening, we arrive in Gdanskformerly known as Danzigwhere the historic centre awaits you with its vibrant atmosphere. You're encouraged to take an evening stroll to experience the lively charm of this stunning city.
Day 6 - Gdansk - Sopot - Sopot - Nynshamn Ferry
Following breakfast, we will embark on a guided tour of the European Solidarity Centre in Gda?sk, a distinctive modern building celebrating the Solidarity movement that significantly contributed to the demise of Soviet influence. Key attractions here include a poignant monument dedicated to fallen workers. We will also provide access to the Museum of the Second World War, an excellent institution inaugurated in 2017, which stands as a solemn tribute to the 3 to 6 million Polish lives lost during the war. After these insightful experiences, you will have some time to wander through the enchanting historic centre of Gda?sk at your own pace.Our next destination is Sopot, a delightful seaside resort town on the shores of the Baltic Sea, famed for its lively environment. Here, you can enjoy the expansive sandy beach and explore one of Europes longest wooden piers, offering breathtaking vistas of the Baltic. In the evening, we will board a modern ferry for an overnight journey to Sweden, departing at 7:30 p.m. and featuring comfortable cabin accommodations. Breakfast will be provided on the ferry.
Day 7 - Sopot - Nynshamn Ferry - Stockholm
After a pleasant overnight journey, our ferry will arrive in Karlskrona, located in southern Sweden, around 06:30 a.m. We will then make our way to Stockholm, stopping along the way in Vstervik, a delightful seaside town known for its picturesque historic centre. By the afternoon, we will reach Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, a city renowned for its stunning location across fourteen islands within the Baltic Sea archipelago, all connected by an intricate network of bridges and ferries. Known for its rich history and blend of modern and traditional architecture, Stockholm offers plenty to explore and discover. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure we suggest wandering through the historic centre and perhaps visiting some of the citys acclaimed museums and beautiful parks.
Day 8 - Stockholm
We'll spend today exploring the captivating capital city of Stockholm, spread across 14 picturesque islands. Our panoramic tour begins in Gamla Stan, the vibrant old town known as "the city between bridges," where you'll find the Nobel Prize Museum, the historic main square of Stortorget, the majestic Cathedral, and the Royal Palace. You'll be treated to stunning views of the city from the Fjllgatan viewpoint, when possible. The afternoon is yours for leisure, and we recommend visiting some of Stockholm's renowned museums and parks. For those interested, there's an optional visit to the City Hall and the Vasa Museum.
Day 9 - Stockholm - Helsingor - Copenhagen
Today, we journey southward from Stockholm, taking in the vibrant atmosphere of Helsingborg, a lively coastal town known for its bustling streets and scenic waterfront. By early afternoon, we'll board a ferry from Sweden, crossing to Helsingr in Denmark. This charming town is famed as the setting of Shakespeare's "Hamlet" and features the impressive Kronborg Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll have time to explore the town and its historic landmarks before we continue on to Copenhagen, arriving in the evening.
Day 10 - Copenhagen
This morning, well set off on a panoramic tour of Copenhagen, the charming capital of Denmark, celebrated for its high quality of life, dedication to sustainability, and vibrant cultural scene. Our exploration will include iconic landmarks such as The Little Mermaid, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's beloved fairy tale, and Nyhavn harbour, famed for its colourful historic buildings. We'll view the exterior of the Amalienborg Palace, the winter residence of the Danish royal family, as well as Town Hall Square and the Tivoli Gardens area, known for its amusement park. After the tour, youll have some free time to wander the city at your leisure and perhaps enjoy some Danish pastries or shop for souvenirs.

After breakfast, the tour concludes, leaving you with fond memories of your unforgettable journey.
