Day 1 - Copenhagen
To begin your journey, we will meet you at the airport for your transfer to the hotel in Copenhagen. Once you've settled in, the rest of the day is yours to relax or explore at your leisure. In the afternoon, you can find important details regarding the start of your tour on the information boards in the hotel reception area. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Copenhagen - Rostock - Szczecin
Following a hearty breakfast, we set off for Gedser, the southernmost part of Scandinavia, renowned for its quaint charm. At around 11:00 a.m., well embark on a modern ferry for a two-hour voyage across the Baltic Sea to Germany, where youre encouraged to enjoy lunch onboard. Upon reaching Rostock, a vibrant city boasting the largest German port on the Baltic, youll have some free time to explore. Discover the lively old town, home to key sites such as the Market Square, the City Hall, and the notable St. Marys Church.Our journey continues through the picturesque Pomerania region as we head into Poland, culminating in our evening arrival in Szczecin. This historic university city on the Oder River is known for its charming historic centre, featuring the Pomeranian Dukes Castle and scenic riverside terraces. Enjoy some free time to wander these atmospheric streets and soak in the local ambiance before the day concludes.
Day 3 - Szczecin - Bydgoszcz - Torun - Warsaw
After breakfast, well journey through the tranquil regions of western Poland, an area whose history saw significant changes post-World War II as it transitioned from German to Polish territory. Our morning's destination is Bydgoszcz, a city celebrated for its striking architecture, picturesque parks, and network of canals connecting the Vistula and Oder rivers. You'll have time to explore and perhaps enjoy lunch at your leisure. Our travels then lead us to Toru?, a remarkable Gothic city famed for its beautifully preserved historic centre - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - and as the birthplace of the renowned astronomer Copernicus. You'll have the opportunity to wander through its charming streets, and if you wish, to visit the museum dedicated to Copernicus himself. Later, our route continues to Warsaw, the vibrant capital of Poland, where we will arrive by day's end.
Day 4 - Warsaw
Today, we begin with a guided panoramic tour of Warsaw, Polands vibrant capital. Known for its modern skyline, Warsaw seamlessly combines contemporary architecture with beautifully reconstructed historical sites. As we explore the charming old town a UNESCO World Heritage Site carefully rebuilt after its destruction during World War II you'll be captivated by the cobbled streets and the grandeur of the Royal Palace. We'll also visit the Palace of Culture, an iconic Soviet-era skyscraper towering over the city. As we reflect on history, we acknowledge what was once the largest Jewish ghetto in Europe, while a visit to Lazienki Park provides a serene contrast, where the Chopin Monument stands proudly surrounded by lush greenery.In the afternoon, you have the freedom to explore further. Whether you're keen on visiting the renowned National Museum, delving into the poignant history at the Warsaw Rising Museum, or simply wandering through the bustling city centre with its array of shops and cafes, the choice is yours to tailor your experience in this captivating city.
Day 5 - Warsaw - Olsztyn - Elblag Canal - Malbork - Gdansk
Following breakfast, we embark on a journey northward in Poland. Our first stop is Olsztynek, where we visit the open-air Museum of Folk Architecture entry is included. Here, you can step back in time as you explore the charming wooden cottages, traditional church, and old mills. Our adventure continues to the Elblag Canal, renowned as Polands longest navigable canal. We visit a unique museum showcasing the area's intriguing method of transporting boats overland on rails to surmount elevation changes. Next, we proceed to Malbork, home to the formidable medieval Malbork Castle admission included with the green route. Constructed in the 13th century by the Teutonic Order, this magnificent fortress is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. By evening, we reach Gdansk, formerly known as Danzig. Its historic centre is both vibrant and picturesque, offering a perfect setting for an evening walk to soak in the lively atmosphere.
Day 6 - Gdansk - Sopot - Sopot - Nynshamn Ferry
After breakfast, we will visit the European Solidarity Centre, housed in a striking modern building that honours the Solidarity movement's role in the fall of the Soviet Union. One highlight here is the poignant monument dedicated to the fallen workers. Admission is also included for the Museum of the Second World War, a thought-provoking destination that opened in 2017. The museum stands as a powerful tribute to the 3 to 6 million lives lost in Poland during that tumultuous period. You'll have time to explore Gdansks historic centre before we depart for Sopot, a delightful seaside town known for its lively ambience, sandy beach, and one of Europes longest wooden piers, offering splendid views of the Baltic Sea. In the evening, we will board a modern ferry for an overnight cruise to Sweden, with cabins included for a comfortable journey. Departure is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., with breakfast on board.
Day 7 - Sopot - Nynshamn Ferry - Stockholm
Following a pleasant overnight ferry journey, we will disembark in Karlskrona, located in southern Sweden, around 06:30 a.m. From here, we will make our way to Stockholm, stopping along the way in the charming seaside town of Vstervik. This picturesque locale boasts a historic centre that invites exploration. Continuing our journey, we will arrive in Stockholm in the afternoon. With its striking landscape of 14 islands connected by a network of bridges, the Swedish capital is a harmonious blend of historical charm and contemporary elegance. The afternoon provides you with the perfect opportunity to explore its vibrant streets, parks, and museums at your own pace, immersing yourself in the city's rich cultural offerings.
Day 8 - Stockholm
Today, we'll embark on an exciting panoramic tour of Stockholm, a city elegantly sprawled over 14 interconnected islands. As we traverse this vibrant capital, we'll explore Gamla Stan, Stockholm's quaint old town. Often referred to as "the city between bridges," this area brims with historic charm and showcases grand buildings such as the Nobel Prize Museum, which stands proudly beside Stortorget square, honouring distinguished Nobel laureates. We'll also visit the majestic Cathedral and the impressive Royal Palace. To top it all off, whenever possible, we'll head to Fjllgatan for breathtaking views over the cityscape. In the afternoon, you're free to explore at your own pace. We suggest visiting Stockholm's array of fascinating museums and serene parks. Alternatively, you may opt to delve into the architectural beauty of the City Hall or uncover maritime treasures at the Vasa Museum.
Day 9 - Stockholm - Stockholm - Turku Ferry
Today, you have the freedom to explore the captivating city of Stockholm at your own pace. This Scandinavian capital, rich in culture and history, offers endless possibilities for discovery. You might choose to visit some of its renowned museums or take a leisurely stroll through the picturesque streets and charming parks. In the evening, we board a modern ferry, embarking on an overnight voyage to Finland. You'll be accommodated in comfortable double en-suite cabins as we sail towards a new adventure.
Day 10 - Stockholm - Turku Ferry - Naantali - Helsinki
As dawn breaks on your arrival in Finland, make your way to the ships deck to witness the stunning sunrise over the land Islands, a captivating archipelago of densely wooded isles. Once weve docked, take the opportunity to discover Turku, a city rich in Swedish heritage. Our adventure continues as we visit Naantali, admired for its charming seaside wooden houses. By lunchtime, we'll reach Helsinki. The afternoon is yours to explore this vibrant capital, known for its historical market, Russian-influenced architecture, and stunning churches.
Day 11 - Helsinki - Helsinki - Tallinn Ferry - Tallinn
Our day begins with an included boat journey to the Suomenlinna Islands, a cluster of six islands hosting the historic Suomenlinna Fortress. This impressive structure once guarded Helsinki's entrance and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take the opportunity to explore at your own pace, strolling across the islands connected by pedestrian bridges. In the afternoon, well embark on a ferry journey to Estonia, taking approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. As we sail away from Helsinki, look forward to breathtaking views of the picturesque islands dotting the surrounding waters. By evening, well reach the enchanting city of Tallinn, ready for you to discover its charm.

In Tallinn, the captivating capital of Estonia, we invite you to discover its well-preserved medieval heart. The afternoon is yours to explore further at your leisure.
