Day 1 - Montreal
Welcome to Montreal! Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel, allowing you some leisure time to settle in and explore at your own pace. During the afternoon, essential details about the upcoming itinerary will be provided, and you can also find useful information on the hotel's informative display boards. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of this dynamic city as you prepare for your journey ahead. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Day 2 - Montreal - Quebec
Following breakfast, we embark on a morning panoramic tour of Montreal, showcasing its vibrant cityscape and renowned landmarks. Our exploration includes visits to Parc Mont Royal, the impressive St. Joseph Oratory, and the majestic Cathedral, offering you a glimpse of the city's cultural and historical depth. After enjoying the sights and perhaps a leisurely lunch, we set off for Quebec. Upon arrival, youll settle into your accommodation, leaving you the evening to begin uncovering the unique charm of this storied city.
Day 3 - Quebec
After a delightful breakfast, we embark on a guided panoramic tour of Quebec City, showcasing its most iconic landmarks, including the majestic Chteau Frontenac, the historic Place Royale, Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupr, and the formidable Citadelle. The morning promises a rich exploration of the city's vibrant heritage. In the afternoon, you can enjoy free time, with a suggestion to visit the splendid Montmorency Falls, a stunning natural spectacle that is sure to impress.
Day 4 - Quebec - Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts - Mont-Tremblant - Ottawa
Following breakfast, we set off on a picturesque journey through the stunning Canadian landscapes of the Laurentian Hills. Our first stop is the delightful town of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, known for its quaint charm. From there, we proceed to Mont-Tremblant, a renowned destination for its world-class ski resort. Later, we continue our travel to Ottawa, the capital city of Canada, where we settle in for our stay.
Day 5 - Ottawa - Thousand Islands - Toronto
Begin your day in Ottawa with a comprehensive city tour following breakfast. You'll explore highlights such as the historic Rideau Canal and the distinctive Parliamentary Buildings. If you're visiting during July or August, you can witness the impressive Changing of the Guard ceremony. Our journey then takes us to Gananoque, where you'll embark on a picturesque cruise. Enjoy the stunning vistas of the St. Lawrence River and the enchanting Thousand Islands. After our time on the water, we continue southwards, arriving at our hotel in Toronto in the late afternoon, where you can unwind after a fulfilling day.
Day 6 - Toronto
Following breakfast, we'll embark on a captivating sightseeing tour of Toronto. Our journey will encompass visits to some of the city's iconic locations, including the vibrant Chinatown, the imposing City Hall, the bustling Financial District, the Eaton Centre, and the historic Casa Loma. In the afternoon, you may choose to explore further: perhaps ascend the CN Tower for breathtaking views, enjoy a shopping spree at the Eaton Centre, or wander through the Underground City, which boasts 25 kilometres of shopping galleries beneath the financial district. As evening falls, consider visiting Queens Quay, a lively waterfront area teeming with restaurants and entertainment. Accommodation for the night is provided.
Day 7 - Toronto - Niagara-on-the-Lake - Niagara Falls
After breakfast, we'll set off for the picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. You'll have some time to explore its quaint streets before we continue our journey to the iconic Niagara Falls. Here, we'll capture stunning photos of the Floral Clock before boarding the Hornblower Niagara Cruise. This thrilling boat ride will take us up close to the base of the majestic falls. Afterwards, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the attractions on Clifton Hill during some leisure time. We will arrive at our hotel in Niagara Falls by late afternoon.
Day 8 - Niagara Falls - Detroit
Today, we journey further through Canada, making our way to Windsor. Here, we'll pause at the scenic Riverfront, which offers a striking view of Detroit across the water. Continuing on, we head to the renowned Henry Ford Museum, where admission is included, allowing us to explore its fascinating exhibits. Later, we'll enjoy some time in Detroit itself, visiting the vibrant Greektown area, perfect for an evening meal, before returning to our hotel.
Day 9 - Detroit - Saugatuck - Chicago
We depart early in the morning, setting off to traverse the state of Michigan. Our first stop is the picturesque town of Saugatuck, where you will have leisure time to explore its charming shopping streets and enjoy a spot of lunch. We then continue our journey to Chicago, a city renowned for its vibrant culture and stunning architecture. Upon arrival, we transfer you to Millennium Park and the famous Loop neighbourhood, known for its theatres and dazzling neon lights. Youll have the evening to savour a delightful dinner and explore at your own pace before settling in for the night at your accommodation.
Day 10 - Chicago
Following breakfast, we embark on a panoramic tour of Chicago, where you'll experience the city's most iconic highlights. Our journey begins at the New Millennium Park and the towering Willis Tower. We'll explore Grant Park and ride the famous Loop elevated train, taking in views of Downtown and the Museum Campus, which is home to the Adler Planetarium, The Field Museum, and the Shedd Aquarium. As we cross the bridges over the Chicago River, you'll enjoy a stunning panorama of the city from the lake. The rest of the morning is yours to wander around the city centre and soak in the expansive views from Willis Tower. You'll have free time to enjoy lunch and visit Navy Pier, once the largest pier in the world when it was constructed in 1916, and now a bustling hub of leisure activities. Should you wish, you can also explore the city with an optional water tour along the Chicago River, which offers glimpses of the city's impressive and varied architecture. We conclude our day with accommodation in Chicago.
