Danube Christmas Markets Cruise Adventure

Upon your arrival in Vienna, you'll commence your journey with us aboard the splendid MS ALBERTINA. Check-in opens at 4:00 p.m., but if you get there earlier, feel free to leave your luggage at reception and take the time to explore the city's charms at your leisure. Once on board, you'll be treated to a welcome cocktail, followed by a delightful dinner. We will spend the night docked in Vienna, giving you a chance to absorb the vibrant atmosphere of Austria's capital from the comfort of our luxury cruise. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.

Following a hearty breakfast, we'll embark on an optional tour of Vienna, where we'll explore some of the city's most renowned attractions. Our journey will take us along the Ringstrasse, offering glimpses of the grand Vienna State Opera, the illustrious Museum of Fine Arts, and the grandiose Natural History Museum. We'll also visit the expansive Hofburg Palace, once the winter seat of the imperial family, admire the striking architecture of the Votive Church, and appreciate the splendour of the National Theatre.Enjoy free time in the afternoon to wander the delightful streets of Vienna and immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere of the city's Christmas markets, brimming with seasonal treats and handcrafted gifts. As evening approaches, we set sail once more, continuing our cultural journey on the water.

After breakfast, we continue our cruise with a visit to Budapestthe vibrant capital of Hungary. An optional guided tour is available, showcasing some of the city's most iconic sights, including Heroes' Square, the bustling Central Market, the historic Synagogue, and the magnificent Opera House. You will have the afternoon free to wander at your leisure, perhaps exploring the charming Christmas markets dotted around the city. As the day draws to a close, we set sail once more, travelling overnight.

Today, we arrive early in the morning in Bratislava, the charming capital of Slovakia. After breakfast on board, we will head out on an optional walking tour to explore the city's historic centre. Wander through the atmospheric streets and discover iconic landmarks such as the Old Town Hall, Hlavn Nmestie Square, the impressive Ganymedova Fountain, the Slovak National Theatre, and the majestic St. Martin's Cathedral. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure, perhaps visiting the lively Christmas markets that adorn the city during this festive season. As the day draws to a close, we set sail again for another overnight journey.

After breakfast on our final day, it's time for disembarkation. We kindly ask guests to vacate their cabins by 9:00 a.m. Should you wish to explore Vienna further or relax in the ship's common areas, you may leave your luggage on board until your scheduled transfer. This marks the conclusion of our journey.
