Saigon, Mekong & Nha Trang (Superior)

Welcome to Vietnam and the start of your mini adventure. Ho Chi Minh City – still widely known as Saigon – is a vibrant metropolis once dubbed the 'Pearl of the Orient'. The city is steeped in history, seen in its many museums and an eclectic mix of colonial and modern architecture.

On arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you'll be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in, available from 2pm onwards. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore at your own pace.

Today we explore some of Saigon’s key landmarks. Our morning begins at the Reunification Palace, once the residence of the President of South Vietnam and a significant site during the Vietnam War. We then visit the War Remnants Museum, established in 1975, which offers a sobering look at the war’s impact through powerful displays of photographs, military equipment and personal stories.

Our final stop is the Notre-Dame Cathedral, an iconic neo-Romanesque church built between 1877 and 1883 using materials imported from France. Please note that visits are currently limited to the exterior due to renovations.

Ho Chi Minh - Mekomg Delta - Ho Chi Minh. This morning we travel south to the Mekong Delta to explore its winding waterways and traditional industries. In Ben Tre, we board a river boat and stop at a brick-making workshop to see traditional clay brick production. We then visit a coconut processing facility and a family-run mat-weaving workshop operated by local women.

Enjoy tropical fruits and tea while chatting with the locals before continuing by motor cart (xe lôi) through quiet rural roads lined with rice paddies and vegetable fields. A home-cooked lunch with a local family in Ben Tre offers a taste of regional cuisine, followed by a tranquil row boat cruise along palm-shaded creeks. Later, return to Ho Chi Minh City by road.

Ho Chi Minh - Nha Trang. After a short flight, arrive at Cam Ranh International Airport where you’ll be greeted by a local guide and transferred to your hotel in Nha Trang. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Enjoy three full days at leisure in the coastal city of Nha Trang. Whether you prefer to unwind on the white sand beaches, snorkel or dive among vibrant coral reefs, indulge in spa treatments, or simply enjoy the resort facilities, these days are yours to spend as you wish. Optional excursions and activities can also be arranged locally.

You’ll be met in your hotel lobby and transferred to Cam Ranh Airport for your onward flight.
