Saigon, Mekong & Nha Trang Beach Break (Deluxe)

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be met by your guide and driver for a transfer to your hotel. Formerly known as Saigon, this is Vietnam’s largest city – a vibrant economic hub that continues to lead cultural trends while preserving the traditions of an ancient civilisation

This morning, we begin by visiting the Reunification Palace, once the residence of the President of South Vietnam. It was here that the Vietnam War effectively ended in 1975, when a North Vietnamese tank crashed through its gates.

We then head to the War Remnants Museum, which documents the conflict’s devastating impact through powerful exhibits of weaponry, photographs, and historical records. Outside, you’ll find aircraft and tanks on display, alongside exhibitions of Vietnamese cultural items.

Our final stop is the Notre-Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883 using materials imported from France. A fine example of neo-Romanesque architecture, it remains an important religious and historical landmark.

Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh. Today, we travel south to Ben Tre, part of the Mekong Delta and known for its thriving coconut industry. On arrival, we board a boat that winds through tranquil mangrove-lined canals.

Along the way, we stop at small workshops to see traditional brick-making and learn how coconuts are processed into everyday products. You’ll sample local fruits and sweets and enjoy a performance of traditional music.

Continuing by boat, we visit a family home where sleeping mats are woven by hand – and you’re welcome to try the technique yourself. A tuk-tuk ride through the countryside takes us past rice paddies, coconut groves, and village life, followed by a lunch of regional specialities at a local restaurant. We return to the pier via a peaceful rowing boat journey through shaded canals, before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh - Nha Trang. After breakfast, we transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Nha Trang. On arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax.

Enjoy four full days at your leisure in Nha Trang. With its long sandy beaches, warm waters, and laid-back charm, this coastal town is perfect for unwinding.

You may wish to relax by the sea, explore the local area, or book optional activities such as island excursions, snorkelling, or spa treatments.
