Once infamous for vice, the area is now known for its fabric, gold and superb street food – which you'll sample from a selection of vendors. It offers a more peaceful alternative to Thailand’s busier resort areas, ideal for relaxation and nature-based activities.

Next, enjoy a one-hour canoe ride through the ‘Little Amazon’ – a mangrove-lined canal rich in wildlife, where snakes and birds can often be seen in their natural habitat.
You then explore Takuapa Old Town, known for its Sino-Portuguese architecture and religious diversity. You'll visit both Buddhist and Chinese temples and learn how these cultural influences have shaped the area. The tour ends with a return transfer to your hotel between 12:00 and 12:30.
